Hello folks! I'm scared! My dh is leaving for a 5 day holiday with his son in 3 days and I just realized - I'll have to cook for myself!!!!! (He usually does the cooking.) AND he's taking the car so I'll have to be environmentally responsible and ......gulp...... walk? or ride the public transit?? or as other people to schlep me around if I need a ride. I've started lining that up already. I have to take our doggies to be clipped on Monday - so I've got our rides lined up. I think I can get a ride to Church. Hmmm... What to eat???? I'll have to read over some of these posts and go to the "cooking" thread. I haven't cooked much in 9 years. I tried eggs and bacon yesterday - burned bacon and broken eggs - yum! along with my favourite - COLD TOAST!!!

When I'm alone, I pretty much just have sandwiches. Boring, but that's it. Maybe eggs on toast for something different.

It is freakin cold, isn't it? But I'm not complaining! I love Fall

Although I do wish DH was here, to get a fire going to take the chill out. He has another 7 days to go.
And then they asked him to cut his stretch off. He is now supposed to go back the night before my birthday! Which will mean he'll also miss a good friends wedding that week-end. ugh. I hope he says no.
