heh Sheets.. how are you.
Lol...too cute...our DD and her DH were up a weeee bit too late last night at her staff party (came home early but brought friends home), and just talking to her on the phone, her sore throat is back, and she said their little guy (4 years old) just brought her a blanket, and I heard him in the background say, "Mommy..I'm going to look after you the whoooole day....would you like a quiet toy to play with?"...how cute is that?!
So hubby and I are heading over there after he snow-plows the driveway from the crap that fell out of the sky this morning, and will try to convince our grandson to come out with us to shop for a present for his Mommy and Daddy for Christmas, then to Wendy's for lunch...so that they can have a bit of R&R while we're gone, then when we bring him home he'll be ready to settle down for a nice, quiet movie. That is, of course, if he wants to leave them this morning...it might be a hard sell....:)
Hope everyone else's day is just as exciting! LOL!!! Yes, life in the fast lane......:)
Good for you cab!! Sounds like it'll be really nice :) My first apartment was actually pretty sweet... 2 bedrooms, sunken living room, soaker tub, all inclusive... those were the days LOL. When I first moved to Ottawa though the ex and I lived in a tiny apartment above a Chinese restaurant lol. It was awesome though because the restaurant gave us a discount and they would bring our food right up to us, even though they didn't deliver!
That's sounds like a great apartment! Chinese food. YUM!
Ours was a dump for lack of better words. hahaha. It was right downtown, close to the university. Lots of students, so lots of noise. No laundry so we waited until we drove home for the weekend and did it at my mom's house.
I think it was about $1000 (including parking) for our tiny 1 bedroom. Thankfully DH worked so he paid the rent. I went to school and worked in the summer.
We were soooo broke but it was good times! :)
We're on our 4th place in total. 1 apartment, 1 townhouse and 2 houses in 10 years. Now that we're settled in a house we both love, I dont plan to move for a VERY long time! Either until we can build our own house or we win the lotto and we can buy a crazy pimpin' mansion. hahahaha.
awesome memories!!!!
a pimpin crazy mansion LOL.. too funny.. thats what we say too Lola.. when we win it were hiring Holmes.. :)
Well I suppose I should do something productive today.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday! :)
