lola, the GTA has about 5 or 6 Disney stores. Square One in Mississauga just renovated its like an enchanted forest sooo beautiful with tall trees and projectors etc. the Disney outlet is in Vaughn Mills mall, amazing prices on stuff.Quote:

Just about to make clay ornaments with the kids. Yesterday we decorated sugar cookies. Tomorrow we're going to do our Gingerbread house.
There's never a shortage of Christmas crafts to do! Plus ornaments always make great add on gifts for the Grandparents. :)
Trying to decide between the Flour/Sugar/Salt/Water recipe or the Baking Soda/Corn Starch/Water recipe. hmmmmm.
Anyone do either? Any preference?
lola, its in barrie @ the georgian mall. not very big but lots of cute things.
for the dough, i did the flour/salt/water mix. worked out pretty well - used some cookie cutters and made some christmas shapes for the tree and did a big christmas tree and put their fingers in it to be the 'lights' when it dries and is painted. i didnt put mine in the oven (it said you could at 200 for a few hours) or just leave out to dry for a few days.
i need to find a link for how to post pics on here for computer stupid people hehe. so many crafts to show you guys!
Well, looks like it's our turn for the teacher's to walk out this week... so I'll have to do some crafts with DS :)
It is flipping COLD in my house tonight, I just can't get warm :( Holly might find a stow-away in her luggage ;)

Abby, they haven't given us a day... they sent home a letter saying they will be taking strike action this week but it didn't give a date.
Buses are canceled today so I'll have to find some fun crafts to do with DS. Guess I won't be wrapping presents today!
morning all.. im up early today.. hubby is on day shift this week. out the door at 6am.. kids were up with him and ready for school... how very strange.. so they'll be gone soon.. a days worth of work planned for me.. going to be a busy week... they predict snow.. haha ok whatever..

Good Morning all! Had a lovely weekend, hubby took care of the kiddos on Saturday so I could bake and make candy. Sunday, his Aunt took the kids so we could spend some time together. Went to Costco, had lunch out, wrapped some presents, it was nice. Freezing rain here since last night, so we'll be hanging at home today. Besides, I have the sniffles AGAIN!
So many restaurants and the movie theatre within couple blocks of this apartment. Chinese, pizza, sushi, oh yeah and the indian buffet where I will be like a couple times a month at very least lol. ;)Quote:
