This has to be the longest day ever....I have never ever been so bored at work....half the office is gone, I have cleaned my desk, put all 2012 files away, started new 2013 files, organized, re organized, sent all expenses, paper work etc to head office, organized more, watered my plants, ate lunch and now I still have 2 more hours ..OH GAWDDDDDD
Well, Vee, at least you get to roam on the interweb!
Am almost finished the Christmas cards, just have to address them (mind you, it took me an hour to find the address book!). Did some prep for baking, cutting cherries and nuts.
Mind you, doing these aforementioned two things turned into hours - because I had to take baking inventory, clean out the spices cupboard; go through lots of junk searching for the address book - sheesh!
Snowing nicely outside now...
No, but it's better to not.... those things have been prepackaged for ages, so much more chance of listeria... plus, just the general taste thing.
Better to get a deli tray from a butcher shop or grocery store deli that they've made fresh, or put one together yourself.
heh vee.. email some ppl on your list some naughty e cards or something.
I hope they are better now.
One of our hosptals was first restricted, then closed to visitors because of the norovirus. That is one gross illness; my son and I got it two years ago - thank goodness he was sick first so I could look after him, I got it once he was a bit better. It was horrid!
Just got an email from one of my sisters a province over saying she and her husband just both went through it - something they didn't need, my BIL is recovering from complications from seizure following a stroke - and she's worn out looking after him.
Noro is the most disgusting illness I have ever had! My DD, DH and I had it two years ago as well. DD and I had it at the same time. then DH. Yick. DD was only 8 months, and she was sick for nearly a month, and had to be in the hospital for dehydration.
okay u guys are freaking me out lol i'm off for now
hmmmm maybe it's time to do some checking on some of these viruses
LOL I used to get freaked out easy, but with my two kids, and the 8 nieces and nephews.... well kids are germy little creatures, no avoiding it now! I just accept it.
In all honesty though, my kids have good immune systems, they get sick much less often then their cousins.
Just got home and have the sweetest message. DD's aid/ea wasn't there when we dropped off her thank you present. We did errands after and came home to such a nice thank you message. So glad she liked the plant and card! She said our kind words meant so much :)
Makes me so happy she knows shes appreciated.
Lost power last night at 2 am..didn't get back until 8.40ish and then out again at 9.30....didn't get on again until whenever but it was back when I got home at 3.30..
I hate it, too....tasted like burned offerings. I usually meet my couples at a near-by Tims...I order the hot chocolate.....I'd just like some people to add up the money they're wasting on that swill..money that could be working for them in a bank, or accumulating in a piggy-bank!
Natalka...the words "nice" and "snow" cannot be used in the same sentence.
Unless it goes like: There is nothing nice about snow.
Went to er at 130 just got back now! Tons if tests all negative. No new drugs. But my fever is back:( Dr. Referred me to ENT but that will take atleast another month:( She took blood and waiting for growth on it and the swab, so by Friday I should know about those. She has no idea what it is. But did think it was viral now and gave me a sick note for 5 days. Which I will not be using. I have a party for a class tomorrow:)
