Morning everyone, it's been a bit since I said hi, been really depressed and busy, I slept for 6 hours last night!!! that's a record for me as I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 a night. Guess I have run myself to the point of exhaustion. I've been so worried about my Maggie. I wasn't able to bring her home the other day as she took a bad turn, but....she is home now :) They called me last night and I was able to go get her around 6pm. I was so very happy. Our poor tiny girl. As sick as she was, her tiny tail was waggin her entire body! I'm so happy now :cheesygrin: I never realized how a tiny little dog could sneak into ones heart so quickly. So, now my tiny little rescue runt that I paid $25 for, has a running total of over $900 and we're still going. I have antibiotics for the next 10 days, and 2 shots of something ??? I have to put into the skin in her neck once a day for the next 2 days, then back to get checked. If all is good, she can then get her 3rd set of puppy shots :shrug: sheeesh, she may keep us here longer that we want to be as she's not yet legal to come to Canada till she gets that rabies shot which she was suppose to get today, but she can't till she gets over this. I did take a few new pictures (of coarse) that's what us proud momma's do that I'll post in a bit.
Sooo, what did I miss???? I see you all had wine without me :rolleyes: was it from a box, if not it's ok cause I only drink the cheap .....I mean boxed wine :lolsign:
wine from a box? i think not. although, those are great when you go camping or on a canoe trip because you can take the bladder out of the box and pack it in your kit bag.
holly, I'm so glad she's home with you, where she can be showered with love and care!

Thanks Nat, I can't believe I was so depressed, it was so silly, my dh said he thought he was going to have to hire himself a cook. I didn't do anything except spend most of my time at the hospital with Maggie. I even walked some of the dogs there for them while taking a break away from Maggie....my vet, Linda jokingly said to me yesterday that she was sad to see me go :lolsign: She said she was getting used to having fresh coffee :)Quote:

Bubster, it must be something in the air. I've been really depressed and blue this past week too, but mine was because of tiny Maggie. I sure hope your new do cheers you up. It's always nice to do something for ourselves, because as either spouses, moms or both, we always seem to put ourselves last. Please show us a picture of the new do. I need a haircut too. I've been avoiding it and trimming my own bangs and ends since my hair all grew back in. It's so thin and fragile, but I think I'm going to get one too.
