Happy easter..this time monday I'll be at my new job.
Happy Easter everyone!
Good morning everyone. Hope all of you with little ones enjoyed the morning watching those smiling faces and that you don't have to scrape them off in ceiling in a few hours, lol. Well, today I'm making a huge ham, scalloped potatoes, baked sweet potatoes (no marshmallows, just cinnamon and butter), brussel sprouts, fiesta corn and a really nice crisp greek salad. I can't wait, I purchased the ham shank a few days ago and every time I open the fridge is screams at me I will taste delicious, cook me . Happy Easter everyone! http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kfU4L9rso-...ppy+Easter.jpg
Went to cousins for fish fry sat and they had 11 kids doing easter egg hunt...today i guess they're doing easter dinner. I wont be there oh well. Gonna have mac and cheese for dinner and making jello right now.
Happy Easter all.. its quiet here, cool and rainy.. went to church then we had brunch with my folks.. then i had a nap.. now chilling..i need to tackle some laundry and maybe put the turkey in the roaster.

Yeah....It took some work .
But I finally figured out how to post photos :excited:.
thats awesome! wtg.
I have no idea what this thread is about. However after seeing over 9000 entries I thought I would say Hi!
Morning everyone!
What a crazy week. Everytime DH is home we spend the 5 days running. lol. And considering this time we also had Easter festivities... geesh, I'm exhausted. lol.
We did get a lot done though. Finally cleaned up the front yard. The old owners had some pretty stupid things in it -- Wishing Well, old pump decoration, brick path and sculpture --I've wanted it all gone since we moved in last year but never had the time. Finally spend a day and DH got rid of it all. YAY!!! A normal front lawn!!!! Now if I can get the shrubs and rock garden out (want to cement the area) I'll be super happy.
We also mentioned that we're going to tear down our pool (27ft across) and all the decking around it while at FIL's and my BIL wants it all. He said he'd get his friends flatbed and a few friends to help do the work if we give him the pool and accessories, and the wood (for outside burning during Maple season) --- Um? HECK YES!!! hahahaha. I just want it gone. Cost us way too much to maintain last summer and we went in it TWICE. With it gone, we'll have a much bigger yard for the kids and I want to put in a raised garden.
You can tell it's SPRING with all this yard work talk. lmao. :) :)
oh and I found the cutest dress for BIL's wedding in August. I'm so excited. lol. Tried to find a pic online but it's not on the website. It's a Yellow strapless eyelet summer dress. I'll probably wear a little shrug with it so I dont get a burn. It even has POCKETS. Yay, no purse! lol
Wow, lola - that's lots of work, but will be worth it!
Great that you guys really have spring - here, we're still buried under tons of snow! Gah!
