showed up for work in a nice white shirt and tie today...and people started thinking going for job interviews at other places today!

i just have a meeting with a new client later this afternoon...that'll go over well when people see me leaving in the middle of the day! LoL

Some people...
We have on street parking with no driveways on my side of the street, a school at the top of the street (maybe 6 houses away). Every morning, the parents park on our street - no biggy bc everyone is gone during the day usually. But my neighbour is home sick and some woman was yelling at the top of her lungs because 'some jackass took her spot' he opened the door and said actually it my spot and I would be happy to call bylaw to stand around here between 8:30 and 9:30 every morning if you have an issue with that. She just walked back and is still complaining about how she had to park further down the street. I look out the window to see what the noise is and she actually pulled into a driveway on the other side of the street!

Morning, everyone..dark and drizzly here today, Jenny gies to ther vet fir her allergy checkup, I have a little sewing to do.....
And geez! My hubby had an appt in Toronto for his checkup, bought a flight ticket, and it was cancelled! Now he's stuck with a non-refundable flight to Toronto! I told him, have a fun day there, lol, if he can't get it refunded....so far his only recourse is to go there, and find someone to sign his travel grant form. Geez! This doctor thinks it's all so easy! Did her pregnancy come as a surprise?! That's why she cancelled...if she was so far along, why book out of town patients! Gah!

AND! I just saw on tv how much money it'll cost the victims of the Boston bombings to purchase prosthetics...I wonder if it would break the Celtics' bank account to fork out for them. Great PR for the so-called Boston-strong!! Gad, if I just signed a multi million dollar contract they'd all have free care!
Just burns my butt that so many selfishly hold onto billions when others are suffering....

nice day today..no sun yet but really warm. dropped dd1 off at JK and just zipped back home for a bit before going to the library with dd2.

dd1's school is having a bakesale/bbq on thursday and thy're asking parents for bakesale donations. i'm gonna make cake pops.. ive never done it before so hopefully they'll turn out okay. if all else fails, lemon squares it is!
