I agree your answer was great!
We also mention too, that when you go to Heaven you become an Angel.
So my Nana (who they know passed away) is now my guardian angel and watches over us.

Yes it's hot, humid and raining here today!
angel, congrats to your son on his K grad! :)
You answered his questions just right! It's all one can do to answer simply and honestly, according to your values and faith.
My son was just over four years old when we had to prepare him for my mom passing away (once she was diagnosed with CA she lasted only six weeks) - and it was difficult, especially after her death. He was very close to his Baba...
Thankfully, we had conversations about dying way before this, because he had asked questions when he was younger.
if it wasn't so hot and rainy out...i might actually have gone and done this...

It actually stopped raining here now.
The sun is trying to peep out...but they're calling for more rain this evening.
So I'll enjoy it now while I can:).
time to head home.
have a wonderful night everyone.
Hiya peeps!!!! Just popping in to say hi, I've picked up a ton of hours and I'm still not used to it lol. I'll pop on tomorrow and chat, I miss you all so much!

@Holly - I hope your cupcake party goes well and the campsite gets "dry"
@angel - I agree with the sentiments above. Great job mommy!
Tomorrow is grade 8 graduation. Can't wait to see everyone spruced up. I always cry on the car ride home (I hold it in until then since I have to present awards...etc.) reflecting on how grown up the kids are and ready for high school. :embarassed:
big day here tomorrow as well. i remember when these kids were toddlers.. time flies..
its been a weird weather day.. hot , cooler, rainy, muggy.. supposed to be like that all week. now im trying to plan out two birthday parties despite the weather. really hoping its going to be nicer next weekend.
i still can't believe its July next week.
What a day!!! We attended our grandson's soccer game earlier this evening; so cute to see those 4 and 5-year olds trying to run a ball in the proper direction and score! He scored one goal and stopped another one, but puffed out later since he has bronchitis again and is now on 2 new puffers, poor tyke. But...he made the JK honour roll, lol...so he's still so proud of that certificate!!
Sweet dreams, everyone!!
Morning Nat :hello: hello everyone
morning everyone! dd1 got her report card yesterday and she did awesome. considering how painfully shy she is this is fantastic..so proud of her. her teacher pulled me aside when I picked her up at school and asked if I would come to their assembly Thursday because she is getting an award - i'm gonna be blubbering! hopefully dd2 sits still long enough (its an hour long assembly) so I can get some pictures.
