nat, yes long for sure. I remember during some of the later contractions my husband complaining about his hand having cramps and he thought he might be getting arthritis. I could have punched him in the face that's for sure. neither of the deliveries were with pain meds. next time im making sure there's an anesthesiologist on site and ready to go haha

I wish someone had told me that contractions from being induced were so different than regular ones... found out later, duh.

All these years later, my husband won't tell me what things I said - he said I wouldn't want to know, but teases me - and I don't remember, I was going in and out. I remember getting angry because the belt with the monitor was hurting me, and they wouldn't take it off (thank goodness they didn't, of course).

Wow, I don't think I've ever checked in this late!

Had an 8:00 apt at the optometrist and it took two hours!
It's been ages since I had been, so I had the full range of tests - found out my eyes haven't changed that much - but I need new glasses since mine broke. Not good news is that the cornea of my left eye is scratched - I have no idea how since I've never gotten it hurt or anything. He thinks it must be from what's been happening lately, that that eye has been quite dry upon waking, and it must have pulled off a layer at one point. Ew. So I have an ointment to use at night to ease things up.
It was a toss up whether to get progressive lenses, I decided to not since I didn't really have to. Plus it would have doubled the cost, and I can live with taking off my glasses to read close.

I hadn't expected to find frames the first place I looked, but I did. Now I just have to wait for them to be done, a week or so.

I have this page on mega-magnify so I can see now - I had the drops to dilate my eyes and things are really, really blurry... hope that wears off soon.

It's driving me nuts, because even though I have the type on the page at about 1/2 inch, it's still blurry and oddly unfocused kinda.
But I have to be on here for my mental health for a while, lol!

Since I didn't have sunglasses, they have me these disposable ones to wear home, but geez it was still so bright on the way home...

Been setting up my room for school. Gone in 3 days to do work and had nothing to do with mo room to work in. My portable finally was assembled and had desks and my supplies in this afternoon. Tomorrow is going to be busy.
