Had such a bad day. I hate retail SO much. On top of that I messed up my back, left early to go to the hospital to be given pills now I'm all stoned and drowsy. I wanna have a hot bath but I'm scared I won't be able to move. *cries*

LTUC...I found this poem and used it to make a sympathy card for my daughter whose Mom passed away last week...I just thought that it's a beautiful sentiment...hope it gives you some peace...


Maybe when we die,
our Real Selves
shake off the confines
of our skin & bones

through the cosmos.

Coyote....you do it every time....a beagle...oh, my, that was my first choice for our new doggie, but having Jenny in my life couldn't be more perfect.
Our next door neighbours' Mom's funeral was today and unfortunately I had a wedding to perform at that time, but she and her boyfriend came over this evening asking if we had any folding chairs....we gave them 7 chairs including our dining chairs, and there was Jenny, prancing over there and into her house, mingling with her family...that little princess....anything to be admired...

...I know, I know...but I couldn't resist......and "dig" is right! When I get up before my hubby, she gets this panic look on her face, crawls to where I was, because it's warm and burrows into the blankets until she determines it's time to get up! The other day, I was up at 8am, and she slept until 10~~!

Good morning!! I just finished baking apple pie muffins...I told the group of folks working on the dog park yesterday that I'd bring them some today since I can't shovel the new dirt they're spreading..they're working in the small doggie park today. It's raining off and on, but I'm guessing there'll still be die-hards there working, so I'll pack a dozen and a half and bring them over.

Then...off to visit the family with muffins for our grandson..then home to watch Green Bay beat the Lions. Fingers crossed and hopeful, but Detroit's been playing awesome football.

Have a wonderful day, everyone...rain or shine, we're alive and breathing to enjoy it!!
