Wow, I'm so glad to find this thread still alive and kicking!! I've been MIA since the summer which just flew by unbelievably fast and now the first 2 months of school are gone, where does the time go!!
I'm hoping to be online a bit more now but before you know it, it will be Christmas!!! I hope everyone is doing well and are happy and healthy!!!
Well, had a bit of a scare last night. (Not a Hallowe'en kind of scare - LOL) I opened a cupboard door in the diningroom and a very heavy glass fell on my left big toe knuckle. (I have a problem with this toe in the first place.) It shattered and I was cleaning up the glass when I noticed that blood was leaking through my running shoe. A piece of glass had pierced my shoe and sock and sliced into my toe. Well, we couldn't get the bleeding stopped for a long time because the cut was right on the knuckle, so when I would try to walk, it would start bleeding again. We set me up with my foot in the air overnight but it was still happening this morning - so off we went to the ER. I was afraid that if I had chipped or cracked a bone, that it might threaten our trip! Well, good news, an x-ray showed no chips or cracks or glass in the cut (the nurse thought that I might have a shard of glass in there.) So THEY GLUED ME TOGETHER! I was good and sat still all today and I am safe to take a shower tomorrow. It SURE hurts though, when I walk on it. So no spending money today except for a Timmies visit for breakfast at the hospital.
Aw, Hon...thank goodness you're not boarding that ship with a cast! Otoh...it wouldn't affect your singing voice if there's a cruise choir again!! :)
Rest those tootsies. But...keep packing!!!!
Good Morning!!!!!!!
Having a quick breakfast b4 work :P
Good Morning Everyone..

Morning All, been a terribly busy week for me. One of my dd's had yet another attack of her kidney's. I had to take her to the hospital, after her initial 2 days of staying there, for IV antibiotics. Yesterday was the last day. Now she has a 10 day supply of them in pill form to take. Viruses these days are CRAZY!!! She picked up the e-coli bacteria somewhere, she can't track where, she's thinking at work (hospital)??? We originally thought she was getting a bladder infection, but after the third day, we knew it was something way worse.
About 9 years ago, she was rushed to the hospital in kidney failure and spent some time there, so when the pain started changing, we went back again and sure enough, it was her kidney's again. Sooo, the past week has been spent back and forth to the hospital, and chauffeuring my gs to school and back here. My dd is feeling well enough this morning that her and the little man are gaping to return to their own home.
How has everyone been??? What have I missed. The weather on Halloween was amazing for a change. I feel for all of you who had to take little ones out down east there with all that rain. Hope everyone has a great Saturday!
Hey Holly I don't have as much internet as I would like. Just saying hi and hope overall you're doing ok. I know you probably wont be running the chirstmas gift exchange this year. Thats ok because I can't be in it anyway lol. ;)
To SC and all of you:

Wowsers, it's been a VERY long time since Wednesday morning when I was last on!
The move didn't exactly go very smoothly, but it's done - and we're wasted/tired, pretty much!
We're going to go slowly on getting things set up here - mostly because it's going to take a heck of a lot of planning to figure out how we are going to live in this small space.
Hoping everything in each of your worlds is wonderful - I'll try catch up with reading past posts over the next while, and more about our goings-on, too.
Enjoy your Sunday! :)
