It's all about the kids', isn't it, Cab? :) I'm sure your cousins really enjoy your visits, not to mention the thoughtful gifts you give them...:) We're into Chima figures and Chima Lego...and Playmobil (we bought him the pirate ship this year for Christmas as well as a chemistry set....so that should put an end to the endless volcanoes he wants to make...lol!)...
Well....SOMEONE here wants to play downstairs, so I'd better get moving! Oh. And 7am came pretty quickly, too! hahaha!!

Our DD will be home from Mexico tomorrow...she just phoned...omg I miss her so much!

morning all.. yep its 'winter'...
slow starting here... really need to get to store but don't feel like venturing out in this.. but since its not going anywhere.. meh..
trying to convince my son to dig out all my xmas stuff.. may as well do something today.
prolly make cream cheese pie for dessert.. throw some chicken or something in the crock pot.
its so quiet in here...

It was such fun having him here, he slept beautifully, and his allergy to our Jenny was only noticeable when he arrived, but I put some great jell I bought from the health store on him and he was all cleared up in a minute! And no reaction this morning! A successful visit all around!

We're having my late BFF's husband over for dinner and the Grey Cup Game this evening, so one little guy out, another guy in! We should have a revolving door...:) I'm making sticky chicken breast pieces over buttered noodles, and an asparagus/puff pastry tart, then hubby bought cheesecake for dessert, so that's what we'll have. Nibblies during the game, of course...

Afternoon all, hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Sunday, whether you're watching the game lapping up a box of wine (:tongue:) or you have your face so far down the chip bag you missed the instant replays,....either way, it seems like a relaxing time to me :)

Me, I'm just watching Ryder again. I've got all my Christmas decorations, and a new tree (one of those fancy pre-lit ones for me :cheesygrin:, but I need to get more lights. It's a 7.5 footer with 400 lights, but I like lots of lights, so tomorrow, I'm back to Target to get me some more 50% off lights for the tree. I'm really looking forward to Christmas at home with the family this year, cold or no cold!

Finally a bit of the white stuff on the ground out there.

WOOOHOO dh finally turned the heat on... thankfully he started getting cold.. dont' think he would have otherwise.

on top of that he secretly bought a new charger for my computer. my old one... now i have access to all my old pics and files again.. yay.
still busy today finishing up decorating. im worn out. been going since 7am this morning..
dh is just going nuts.. cleaning around the house.. he wants the house perfect by xmas... only has 2 weeks holidays.. why do i have a feeling IM going to need a vacation once he goes back to work LOL

and i hit the wrong button on here.. the 'mark forums read' button.. ya now i have no threads to read.. not a good way to start this week.

Glad you can access your stuff now, MrsS - and how awesome that you have a husband who likes to clean!
Mine doesn't but he will - in spurts, usually, or when I ask or badly need help!

I'm done the aft rounds on here, not much going on - everyone must be out shopping!
Going to put supper in the oven, then watch Y&R.
Don't know when husband will be home, since after work he's going to the church to do some electrical work - hopefully he's not too long.

Yay, DD landed safely at Pearson...now a 4-hr layover, then home!! Good NFL game coming up...have a nice evening.
