Morning all, yes don't fall over....I'm up early, I've got my meds into me and am getting out of be shortly. I've got lots to do today, we made chocolate chip cookies last night for Ryder to take to school today. He loves bringing treats to shares with his class. I get so far behind when I'm running after him, LOL

I'm going to try and finish my Christmas shopping today. I hope everyone has a great Black Friday!

I LOVE Target!!!

So the camera I purchased yesterday on our DD's behalf was 399.00. I went in just now to get the adjustment to 299.00...then with our Red Card, another $15.00 was deducted, so the camera was 284.00, AND I got a free $15 GC because it was BF and I spent over 75.00!!

Holly!!! Did you get your adjustment, yet?

Coyote, I've had enough excitement for one day...lol! Enjoy your lunch with your Dad..you're so fortunate to have a Dad, wish I still had my parents with me...and enjoy your hubby's party!!

Ooooo...hubby's putting up our tree...gotta go help!

morning everyone. long time since I've checked in here. it was pretty crispy cold this morning..-17. just finishing my coffee before I start some housework aand make an apple crisp with some apples that need to be used up. then off to dd1s school to help with the 'snuggle up and read' program.

I am having a guilt fest this morning... dd1 is so stubborn and having some serious listening issues so this morning we got into it yet again. today was 'spirit day' at school - todays theme was to wear a mustache. but because of her antics I told her no way was I doing it for her. now I'm worried she'll be the only 1 in her class without it because it was such a fun, hyped event. I don't want her to feel left out but I'm pulling my hair out with her and i need to start standing my ground with her. gah, parenting!!!!

Lynn... glad everything worked out with Target and the camera.. awesome deal.. hope i'm able to find that perfect deal for dh this year.
have fun with dh decorating the tree.

taking things slowly here. while i'd love to just 'jump' into life. i need to be careful so i can still move.
dh is fighting a chest cold.. he never gets sick.. so im praying he recovers fast.. he still hasn't even started his 'project' only a weekend and a week left to his holidays.
found out yesterday he works Christmas day.. so im thinking we either celebrate Christmas eve or boxing day..
a few things to do here, finish decorating the railing, wash floors, tidy up/vacuum etc.
i would love to be done everything by the end of the weekend and be able to enjoy December. will see what plays out.

Yes, it's important to stand your ground, but perhaps not at the expense of centering your daughter out in school...Lordy, I know how hard it can be, having raised two into adulthood! Restrict the punishments to home *unless, of course it involves the school specifically, like a school trip (which I'm still hearing about with our DD that I didn't let her go to Wonderland with her grade 6 class...lol!)......I've always felt the punishment should fit the crime, and oh: pick your battles, Not all of them are battles, some are just skirmishes. Our DD finds that the best advice so far.......Sorry if you feel I'm overstepping my boundaries, here, but gosh, you just sounded like you needed...something....hth...{{{HUGS}}}

And it's the only thing my oldest has asked for...
I tried getting it all staples last night as they started their sale yesterday..
But they were all sold out .
