I would LOVE to go to Paris!!! Drink some fancy coffee, eat some chocolate croissants... it just looks dreamy to me!
However, I'm really a homebody... I like to travel a bit but I would rather stay close to home. My ex-husband was huge into traveling and it was one of the many things we didn't agree on lol.

I like the idea of resort traveling too... I don't think I would do too good if I was left to fend for myself in some foreign country!

Do you really think there is a correlation with the trip, or could it be a coincidence?
Were you tested for parasites?
Either way, it's too bad you are going through tummy troubles...
So I'm left wondering about your lactose intolerance; how soon after your trip were you tested and diagnosed? Mine is the primary type, I was diagnosed in my late 20s. There are causes for the secondary type - some listed here

it's 100% trip related. i got very ill when i came back had to take antibiotics and couldn't eat anything for a week.
doctor said it would take a while to reset my system after being ill.... and here we are 8 months later!
i wasn't tested for anything actually. bc i don't have anything severe ... just a lot of things cause me nausea now or really upset tummy. ginger chews and pepto are my friends :S
i haven't been tested for lactose. i just know based on my own trial and error i most definitely cannot eat it!

i used to eat all day! anything and everything i wanted om nom nom lol
i never had an upset stomach. now i calculate my every food move before making it ... weighing whether or not it's worth it.
i mean ... listen, i'll take an upset tummy and a wonderful husband any day over the opposite way i had it previously lol
