oh Lynn im with Natalka.. choose one or the other hun.. don't do yourself in..

Abby im thinking you def. don't have strep.. if you had the right meds chances are they'd give you an extra problem most women hate..
the only meds that ended up working for my did that as well as made me lose 10lbs in one week. i HAD to drink 8 ounces of water every 2 hours.. oh my word i didn't spend as much time in the bathroom while pregnant than i did on that ..
i'd def. be asking to see another dr. specialist or maybe an emerge visit.. having something like this going on for this long can't be good for ya.

Honestly, if the keflex isn't working, going on the IV is the best thing - it's a pain and a hassle, but it's well worth it because it works so much faster and better - I know, I've had to do it many times in the past.
One good thing here, even though I would go to ER to do it, they often would get me in fast just because they could set me up and leave me, then deal with the emergent cases.

Hope you can get some decent sleep tonight!

Goodnight, all! See you all tomorrow! I'm not usually on here in the evening, and my eyes are closing here at 10 pm. I'll go read a while...

I've had to go in to emerg for IV too, before. Once for a migraine, they gave me advil and extra liquids. It was the middle of summer, and they suspected I was really really dehydrated, and the other was not long ago, when I had appendicitis (gave me 2 bags of liquid, and a dose of morphine).

IV's make your hand freezing cold. Aside from my phobia of needles, the feeling is neat

Also, Sparky says hello. And yes, my dog when he has his full-grown hair he ALWAYS looks like he's got bad bedhead. Its inevitable.

He's not his usual 'smiling' self. Irealized after I took the photo he's scared of that toy. In fact, he's scared of EVERY toy with a squeaker (minus plushies)

Oh, I hope it's not a toothache, there's nothing worse. I make a point of going to the dentist every 4 months because the meds I take play havoc with everything in this old body. I got a toothache a few years ago...omg, lets just say the Cesars were triples, and then the next morning I just had a huge hangover, PLUS the toothache....not good!

Hope your feeling better today Lynn, fibro pain is horrible too.

I took Marley to the groomers yesterday. It's the first time ever, I've had her fur cut this short. She looks like a different dog, but it's been so hot here the dh thought we should get it cut short. It's about an inch long. She looks so cute. Now she really is my little teddybear. Here is her before the groomers picture...

And here is her after picture...

Have a good day everyone. Sick day for me. Another brutal bout of tonsillitis. I get this 3-6 times a year. As much as I dread it, can't wait until I have surgery in the new year to remove them. Blah.

Sorry your sick. It seems everyone is getting either that nasty flu/cold or something worse. I'm glad I'm down here, so far so good. Neither dh or myself have been stricken with a really bad bout of the flu yet this year.
