Cleaned out the buffet and hutch and dish wear cupboards. I need boxes now. Lots to sell and get rid of more work!! I will ask dh (almost ex) if he wants anything. He said he wanted to take some kitchen stuff...not sure what he is thinking of though???

Whew...parachuting back home to be with Jenny for a while, back to DD's place to put dinner on for us, left-overs for them...lol...I don't know when she'll be home, but it's the time of year for her to work her 60-7-hrs a week. Thank goodness her hubby's home by 5pm!

Dan....good luck with all the wedding planning...it's so much fun! But don't fall into the "we have to have" this and that...omg, when a couple arranges for me to perform the "Candle Ceremony" for them, I tell them, 'don't you dare spend $60 on a candle set from some company!, then I tell them how to do it on very little money. It irks me to the nth degree how companies gouge couples!! Matching flutes? Go to HomeSense! Candles? Michaels (with coupons!), vases for the SandCeremony? Dollaramma!
Anyhoo...I suspect having you here, Dan, means there will be no such spending nonsense going on!

Lola, thank goodness you took him in and got a 'script for medication. He'll be fine in a few days..!!

Thank you Lynn and I'm the lucky one

Morning of the 31st, she was staying with her parents in the country for the holidays.
I had been visiting with my parents the days between christmas and new years.

I drove up, bright and early and walked into the house, she was still asleep.
I went into her room and woke her up. I had her winter jacket and boot ready at the door, and helped her into them, and walked her out to the pond on the property.

So there she was, in her PJs, winter jacket, boots, out by the pond, in the snow, no one around, peaceful and quiet.
I told her how much I love her, and down to one knee I went

Wow, now begins a special journey.... I think the engagement is a very nice time, because when you are planning for the wedding, you do tend to talk a lot about Marriage!

I've been hearing a lot about Downton Abby lately... I'm not really into British shows but this one looks kind of interesting! I need something new to watch. I haven't been really into a show since Lost...

downton abbey isn't for everyone.. it's a classic british period drama.. can seem dry.. visually stunning and very costume/dialogue driven
