Just got back from shoppers, yes I know its 2am lol. Cashier was kinda surprised since its just a regular day how many bonus points I had. I had loaded a bunch of digital coupons to my card plus there were a couple in store bonus points and I wound up with 13,250 bonus points. Not the most spectacular but good for me.

Morning gang.
Good game last night!
I was talking to the Lady about the Jays winning...I'm happy they won. Now, win (or lose) they Jays will be on KC's turf. A (series) win, will feel that much sweeter, and a lose won't sting as much.

On the run again this morning...taking wee Jenny to the vet; she's been constantly licking her paw and I'm concerned she'll break the skin to infection. I've been putting cortisone cream on at night and bandaging it up, no sign of anything, so we'll see....
Then painting class this afternoon!!
Oh!! And Son-in-Law's last day of work before becoming a Stay-at-home-Dad!!!! They're SO excited!!

Oh, poop. My painting class is canceled for today. Which, actually, gives me one more week to finish the sketch of a photo I took of all my Mom's wooden spools of thread on her Ukrainian embroidered tablecloth. Work, work, work...

Jenny's fine, the vet said it's an allergy-induced (long medical name)..red bump between her toes. almost like a little raspberry. No worries, it's because she's still young that her allergies are still evident, so she gave her an injection to prevent any infections from her licking, told me to continue to use the hydrocortisone cream on it and tape a baby sock from the buck store on it so that she can leave it well enough alone. I've been wrapping it in gauze and medical tape at night, but this is great for the daytime. She said it may take a month or two, but it should clear up by itself.
So...off to the buck store!
Have a great day, everyone!

Thanks, Nat; it's always such a helpless feeling with one's fur-kid (or any kid, lol) is uncomfortable. She'll be fine. I tease our Grandson...he's allergic to dogs and cats, so I've told him Jenny's allergic to him. I get the smile and eye-roll...lol...too cute!
NOW I can start my Christmas knitting! Little Lambie-Pie has been packed up so the kids can take it with them when they go south tomorrow to see their new niece..
Now that was a fiddly knit..but fun, too!
How's everyone's day going? Brighter since last night's win?

nice day here so far. That was good news to get about Jenny just having the allergy, nothing major @Lynn49 . I am curious how she does not just gnaw whatever you cover her paw with at night? My Rufus chews any sock that he sees and has destroyed enough singles of my small ankle ones that I started buying all 1 colour. I tend to kick off my socks under the computer desk and sure enough once I head up or downstairs he grabs one and does his best to make it " holy "!

Hello every1. @lynn69 , happy Jenny's ok. I'm with @walkonby , no way will Jake leave anything on his paws. He bites and pulls everything off.
What a wonderful / lucky / lucrative morning

* had my last daily back treatment in almost 3 years. That'll save me a fortune.
* checked my Loto 6/49 ticket, and won $180.
* used $80. of it @ the casino, and won $1750.
* and finally, on the way home, I'm embarrassed to say, I got pulled over for doing 32 km over the speed limit. The sweetheart of a cop let me off with just a warning. Wow, what a wonderful surprise, esp. since I really deserved a ticked - big time.

Walks, Hicks, I don't know how to explain it: she just lays very still while I apply the cream, gauze..then she waits until I cut a couple of pieces of tape, then apply it...then I just cover her up and she falls asleep! She's very compliant. Even at the vet: she had to be weighed, so I had her leash, and said, "Up, Jenny." and she got on the scale and sat down! "We don't see THAT happen too often!" the technician said, lol. She let the vet examine her, sat absolutely still....she's just an amazing little girl. Just content with her lot in life, calm as a cucumber. Unless of course, someone shifty looking (and they're all shifty looking) dares walk by our house; if they're slowly walking, meh, she may give them a pass, but kids, fast walking adults and of course dogs..well, that's an unforgivable intrusion! She thinks the postman comes to 'steal stuff' every day. I try to explain him to her, but nope. Shifty.
Avon's and her Hubby have met her and I think they got a charge out of how she decides, sometime in the evening, that she's had quite enough of everyone, lays down on my lap on our faux sherpa blanket, gets the blanket tossed over her completely, and she's "done" until it's time for bed...lol...yep. She's my relaxation technique.
I haven't tried the sock thing yet, although I did buy baby socks today..that may be a different story.
She's never chewed any clothing, carpet, or anything. Weird little nugget....
Hicks!! Congratulations on a very lucrative day!! That should make Jake's vet bills more tolerable...as well as your back messages. Good heavens, 3 years?! I sure hope whatever was bothering you is gone completely! Now. The big, important question is, "What will you buy yourself?"
