Sometimes it’s just a word, a picture & a comment or two,
Sometimes it’s another poem from silly you-know-who,
Sometimes it’s a sports blog where losing fans can spew,
Sometimes it’s just a place where you can express your view,
Sometimes it’s a hang out when you’re bored at home or work,
Sometimes it’s even been a thread to call someone a jerk,
It’s always a place where accolades sure are earned,
It’s also always a place of welcome to all that are concerned,
A place to come if you need a top up or an energy restore,
A place to come if you’re just concerned who could ask for anything more?
A place where you can log on & leave, in case you’re in a hurry,
A place where words are sometimes posted in a flurry,
Mainly it’s a place that unpretentious & undemanding,
Mainly it’s a place where you find mutual understanding,
A place that if we’re lucky, will never go out of fashion,
A place of mutual understanding & one of deep compassion,
People who help out in more ways than they could ever know,
People who seem to be so fast & some, who are just slow,
I guess what I am alluding to is that I am grateful to all of you,
& please just keep on going & doing what you do.

Oooo..sorry for the big picture, but I thought...it's totally worth it!

Heading out with Hubby this afternoon, running some errands...btw....on the HomeHardware site there's a knife set for 39.99, regular iirc, $60, but if you add up the 5 knives individually, it comes to about $100....so if anyone needs knives (like our "kids"!!!!) there you go. I purchased them on line and we're picking them up at HH today.

Oh, HICKS!! How could I have missed this!! Such a good idea, though, I've wanted to knit a hat for Jenny because like greyhounds, her ears are to thin and unfurry that they get cold very quickly. However, I found a winter coat for her that has a 'fur' lined hood. If it stays up, it'll be fine. If not, I'll attach a ribbon and tie it under her chin.....
