Good morning, everyone!
Dull day, so DH and I will probably run a few errands this afternoon after his golf; I was going to take the van, since he uses his scooter nowadays, but never got motivated to move very early this morning.

DD's in Edmonton at a conference, everyone's busy and still...I haven't started de-cluttering my sewing/dressingroom. It will get done this week......honest. I hope.

That's my Dad, I put his pic up for Father's Day. It's a photo of when he got one of his degrees in the late 1950s, he would have been 38 or 39 then.

Good (sort-of) morning, everyone!

I was just reaching into the linen closet for a towel and oiy!! It felt like I broke a rib for heaven's sake! Accompanied by the feeling as if someone stabbed me with a very long needle! Of course I didn't, but the pain...whooh! Growing old is such a b*tch sometimes!! Now I just have residual pain on my right side mid-back...jeepers creepers this sure isn't fun.

ANYWAY....another lovely day here, going up to 26; we were going to leave for camp today, but stuff to do here, so we'll leave in the morning. DD is still in meetings today in Edmonton, but will land here sometime around mid-night, poor kid.

ENJOY your day, everyone...I may have to take sumthin'-sumthin' for this pain...the sharpness is still um...let's say more towards the front...and I did have a mammogram in October!!!

I think I need a cookie. But I don't have a cookie here!!!

I should really be doing more productive work than just relaxing here, but meh?? I'll get round to it. @Lynn49 sorry to hear about that rib jab and pain. I DO support taking a sumthin-sumthin for pain but also a cookie is a great idea too! Hope you find some....ha ha.

I've got another busy day, actually already have, but I'm not complaining. I wait all year for this.

@Lynn49 - sorry to hear about that pain; it sounds like it really took your breath away. Do take something, but if the pain is relieved, don't do too much. Take it as easy as you can. Maybe sit on the swing with Jenny. Feel better.

Thank you, Danger_Dan, Walks, Hicks...the pain's subsided now and Hubby thinks I pinched a nerve, which sounds possible; it's that kind of pain. Sheesh! And too early for wine!!

As for cookies, funny story: I had baked my Mom's recipe for Oatmeal/Raisin cookies which we loved as kids and which our kids loved and which now our Grandson loves. I took them to camp and the kids of course, devoured most of them. Unfortunately the snapped-tight container was left out at the kids' trailer overnight and was quite empty the next morning. Judging by the little racoon that was peering above the deck while standing on the stairs the next night, it wasn't difficult to figure out who enjoyed those treats! Too cute. Honestly, if I had more, I would have left a few out for the little cutie-pie! I know, I know...don't feed the critters...but, but......they're so cute!!
