Awesome for people that got the deal, me unfortunately an epic fail!!! 28 weeks pregnant and totally dying for my fav chocolate! : ( Went to 4 SDM in my area all of them completely cleared out and me as a result exhausted! Each store it was the same story people going in and buying tonnes , redeeming points etc...and only 2 or 3 people doing it and cleared the store. Staff wasn't even able to do it! I am disappointed that quantities were not restricted...seriously who needs to buy 50 bars or even 20. I honestly only wanted to buy 8.

I totally agree. I don't live close enough to walk to a Shoppers so my MIL took me and they told me about the deal but then proceeded to tell me the lady who was here before me cleared the shelves. I don't expect much less since couponers in this town are greedy and rude but she bought over 50 bars like wtf?

This deal is on for the next couple of weeks. I am sure they will restock the stores before then. And the 'greedy' people probably won't bother when there isn't a bonus redemption going on.

No No don't worry , they won't do anything like that , they only do that if you commit a fraud , but you are not doing any such thing , its a legitimate promo you are taking advantage of
The main reason I used up all my points today is due to the bonus SUPER redemption value , which was really good .
Like 25000 pts = $ 50 , 50000 points = $ 110 etc ..if I redeem the same points tomorrow , they will be worth a lot less, so might as well redeem them today and get things I need and get the SUPER bonus valueas opposed to regular redemption value ( worth a lot less )

I don't get hoarders either. But they won't be around from tomorrow as the super bonus redemption for the pts ends today.
But don't worry they will restock them and you will steal get the deal upto 23 Sep.
Only problem is that you won't be able to take advantage of today's and yesterday's Super bonus redemption value for your points.
But the regular redemption in coming weeks and the 8,000 BP for 4x will be still on for a couple of weeks more

Honestly, I got a ton today. And I don't usually do that.
I didn't clear any shelves. I took a bit of each, the only thing I cleared were flavors there were only a couple of, and by a couple I mean less than 5. I'm not an A-hole in that regard, or rude. I make sure I'm being courteous to others.
I did jump on this because I figured I should, since Christmas is coming and redemptions are gonna be huge then.
Zellers is BS though, it's sad but true. Zellers is the gas-station bathroom of big chain discount retail stores, and they pull this crap quite often, just in smaller doses to individual people.
Zellers didn't think that coupon through very well, then kept going back and forth on what you could buy with it or couldn't. They excluded electronics, pharmacy, etc. but were too dim to add home appliances and expensive items to the restrictions.
My family ended up with a microwave, stand mixer and cookware set totaling a retail value of at least a thousand bucks, their price.
You screw up, you lose, I guess. Think out your promos ahead of time and look for the loopholes or the cracks. If they try to take my points away I will be on the phone, and I might speak at an elevated volume!

Yes its true you are probably right that the crazy's out there will not buy anymore chocolate with the bonus redemption over...LOL! It was just frustrating to be out on a day I had off from work and couldn't find one bar at 4 different stores...I treated myself to ice cream instead...mama and baby were happy with that. : )

They wouldn't like to deal with the fall-out if they reversed them, they already said that people could do as many transactions as they liked.
The last time there was an amazing promo like this, you could buy couple of bottles of protein water for under $2 each and get a crazy amount of points. They just disappeared off the shelves until the promo was over

Oh yeah I won't forget this deal. It was for the Body Logix drink. What a great deal it was. For $2.50 a bottle you get 5,000 BP. Not sure if my number is correct but close to that. I remember the shelves being cleared and when the promo is done, the drink started to reappear.

I'll be honest and say I got 112 bars. I went to 8 SDM's in total. I didn't clear ANY shelves, in fact there were LOADS left at the store I did my transactions at (yes, bought 112 at the SAME store - all others were sold out). The Cashier was amazing and after getting 56, she urged me to get more! ahahaha. They are for Halloween. The kids in my neighborhood will love us! And it only cost me $30 OOP (same as a few boxes of the tiny chocolate bars), the BP's were a major bonus of course!
