What a weekend so far!!

So to begin my story...Casino Rama gave me two free tickets to see Air Supply!! I couldn't wait!! A night out for me is a great break from taking care of my autistic son! I started asking everyone under the sun if they could go and everyone had plans...it was March break so I can understand. Then fourfurryfeet...an awesome SC'r on here who has been amazing trading with me and been awesome with conversations too agreed to come with me!! This was great!! There were a few of lovely people on here who I am dying to meet and I was thinking this was great!! I could just see us sorting through each other's coupons while hitting the spin wheel on the slots! Then the night before she told me she couldn't get there because Rama does not have wheelchair accessable chartered buses anymore!!! (My car is too small.) What!!! This sucks!! They got a piece of my mind up there and will be getting more via the mail!! Everyone deserves the right to go!!! So I smuggled my camera in a video taped what I could to show her...but you didn't read that....

Lucky for me my girlfriend, who also has a daughter with ASD, could come with me! I had to bribe her hubby with a gift bag full of male toiletries to watch the kids...thank the lord (and deal finding SC'rs) for my stash!! He loved it and she was so happy to get out of the house too! Then we both realized we both hadn't been out since last November!!! Very overdue break for us!!!

Rama was great!! They gave me $10 to gamble with for free (lost that of course!) and I only lost $8 bucks total!! Air Supply was awesome!! We got on the big screen 3 times...which has never happened to me before!! Then there was the lead guitarist....I don't know what he was thinking....hot pink silk shirt....red guitar...flipping his lack of hair like he was Taylor Swift!! Too funny!!

2x tickets $70 - free with Players Card = free
Dinner - friend who payed because I payed for gas= free
Gas $15 plus pump over pumped 1cent and didn't charge me...yeah...1 cent of free gas....not much but free!!!

So for $23 and gas to spare I had a great time and feel so relaxed!!! Plus the money I didn't loose I got to shop with prior to picking up my boy!!!!!

First store Zellers by my place....only one Scrubbing bubbles left...man you guys are fast!!! (And yes even after getting home at 2 am I was at the stores at 9...birds started chirping at 7:30 ...time I usually feed them )

In total I saved $65 in coupons and got the best compliment from my hubby when he called today!! He says...you sound so relaxed and happy!!! I said yeah...I actually had a night of a social life!!! = PRICELESS

You are right about the shirt! Glad you had a chance to have a well deserved evening out. I did some volunteer work with autistic children so I know how much energy that takes. I loved Air Supply when I was in my teens. Sounds like you had fun. Free makes it even better. Also, great shopping brag.

Sooooo glad you had a fun time, I was thinking about you! Meanwhile DD and I went for a movie and some shopping - mother and daughter retail therapy at its best.. and used the groupon for chocolate and lots of ice cream before it expired. So nice to get out once in a while eh?
