Can I buy all the bars I'd like at once, or would I have to keep going in every time for 4 more bars?

Also, I currently only have 16300 pts....I need to buy some diapers & have two different VIB coupons worth 3000 each [1 for huggies, 1 for pull-ups] & that would bring me to 22300...what's the best plan to get the most points?

I was thinking redeeming the 22000 for 16 bars and paying a bit out of pocket to get 32000pts....but then maybe going in again & redeeming another 22000 for another 16 bars, giving me 42000 & only paying $4 & some tax OOP [If I did my match correctly].

According to bigsexy up there, you can only earn 8000BP per transaction now, so you'd have to do it 4 at a time.

I don't have kids, so I know nothing about the VIB coupons. But I'd hold off buying chocolate bars until you get confirmation that either you can only get 8000BP, or you can still earn more.

They fixed it as there is now a limit of 8000 bonus points per transaction with this promo.( I found out tyhe hard way and purchased 16 bars and only recieved 8000 points.)(but I can't complain as I did get over 200,000 this weekend)

When did you make this purchase? I bought 32 at 12pm PST (3pm EST) and got 64000 points.

Alot of ppl say stuff and sometimes is true and sometimes it not. I would go to your local Shoppers and ask them to try it in one transaction and see if they changed the system. I am not saying ppl are lying either so don't beat me up just sometimes they are wrong. They don't mean to miss inform is what I am trying to say. LOL

if what Big sexy says is not true here is what I will do around the 20th. For my dad cause he is a senior.
If you buy 4 chocolate bars you get 8000 points for 9.04 you would have to buy something cheap to bring it up to 10.00 and redeem. If you do the 22000 lvl you buy 12 bars to get your 22000 points back and then that would cost you 24.00 in a redemption so you would have to top it up and to over thirty dollars. For the next level 38000 you would have to get 20 bars to recover your 38000 points and do a redemption of 60.00 the bars would come to 40.00 so you need to top it up to over 60 for you redemption. The next level 50000 you need to buy 28 bars to get your redemption points back that would be 56 dollars so then you have to get stuff (gum and ritz for more points) to take it over 85.00. The next one 95000 you have to buy 48 bars to get your redemption points back. That equals 96.00 then you buy gum and ritz and other things to bring your total to over 170.00 It is still worth it to keep going.

At my local SDM, they took off the sale price and bonus points tag off, the manager said it was head office's mistake, which benefit the store, but head office lost truckloads of money in points!

I did a transaction around 6PM EST and it still worked

You can see the bonus points you will earn on the screen, just ask the cashier to scan the chocolate bar 8 times and sub-total - on the right hand corner of the screen it will show you what the transaction is worth points wise , I asked a couple cashiers today, they looked at me like I had two heads, but I got the information I needed

Never hurts to ask right! Besides who wants to spend all those points and get nothing back
Just be sure not to scan your optimum card in, just the items then subtotal and that's it!
