a great many don't care about this, nor does canadian tire half the time. if they let you do it, i say why the heck not? it's like the zantac thing. very rare to actually be restricted to one, because at the end of the day, who cares?

hey i'm all for fighting the corporate bs. their profit margins are astronomical. i have astronomical student loans (and will continue to watch the debt climb for many years to come-such a long way to go) if i can take advantage of any savings i will absolutely do so.

Yes they can. I noticed tonight that they had some Resolve on for 2.19 on sale. Thought i might get a bunch tomorrow with coupons and use a scratch card also. i went through the till twice tonight. The first cashier noticed that I had 2 scratch cards and grabbed them both. Then the second cashier did pretty much the same thing. Got 2 cake coupons from each cashier.(that makes 5 cakes and one 5.00 card)

No purchase necessary! I hit our local post office and recycling center for cards. I now have 6 free cakes and $15.00 in gift cards. Not bad considering it's all free! I LOVE C.T scratch ticket time!!

Do they give you GC's though? I have some of them too, and it says no purchase necessary, but it also says the $5 has to be applied to a transaction? I would much prefer GC's for them, but not sure if they will let you do it. Has anyone tried this? I'd like to know before I go in with mine.

wow. i haven't even got ONE scratch card

We didn't get one either.
But at Canadian Tire we got a really nice cashier. She gave us a scratch card -- she had a few left.
We got cake. Yum.
