You know what, Patty? I've always filled my plate with "the trimmings", and only then took a small piece of turkey breast to say that I had it on my plate. It was always the last thing I ate!! I've said it before: I'd never miss the thing...give me everything else! LOL!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Enjoy it. Don't go without and don't beat yourself up in the morning.
I get huffy with myself, take a deep breath and of course...swear never to do that again... But I do..

Lynn the " trimmings " were what got me into overindulgent heaven yesterday! Oh was it delicious though! No regrets either because technically I did have veggies on my plate(s)....it was the brown sugar/butter enhancements that were my downfall.

Imagine if I had placed this cute fellow on the table instead of the real deal? Oh Patty, that was great you were able to get a fresh turkey for your Dad...were you able to resist once the smell wafted through the house?

I did not have any turkey, I was quite happy with stuffing, roasted potatoes, beets and gravy. Veggie gravy is quite sweet though. I guess it was the red onions in the stock that did it. DH could not tell the difference in the stuffing so that was a success.

Went apple picking yesterday so I think I will do some baked apple/raisin/crunch type of thingy today.

Hi Lynn49. Have you seen any improvement at all on your symptoms since you started with Dr. Furhman's plan?
