My little brother came home from school one day when he was little with hair they'd colored with bingo dabbers at school. awesome classroom supervision that day! Lol

My son's hair is blue and has been for a couple of months. Before that it was purple and before that...pink. He normally wears a top hat. Odd kid. He almost looks normal today.

When I go to the Cancer centre I always pick up a couple samples about 20-25g of something this time I am picking up Big Apple and hot lips
I had something with cinnamon last time and I didn't dislike it but I didn't really like it either. Hmmm....I do like rooibos. It's one of my favourites!

    Well that sucks .

What did he use to dye his hair blue? My son used the Manic Magic (or something like that). For some reason it turned his hair green instead of blue. Maybe if he insists on trying it again, at least I can recommend a better product.

Meh, the ones of me dressing him up in my bikinis and locking him in our old dog's crate are the photos I cherish from our childhood

My theory on the hair thing though is that it's just hair. It looks ridiculou I'm sure, and I know I'll definitely be stressed out of this world (My OCD's gonna go into overdrive!) when my kid peroxides their hair or bingo dabs it or whatever, but it's not forever!

Just did some digging on the giggles & grins...looks like the whole line was discontinued in 2008? Sounds like it was a great product though. It's too bad!

Hey, do any of you bakers have a good recipe for carrot cake (not overly crazy for prep time etc?. I have a bag of carrots that need some purpose.

We have used Manic Panic before but it only works well when you do the Manic Bleach kit first!! Giant Tiger sells a brand(whose name escapes me right now-I will ask blue haired kid later and get back to you) that comes in pink, purple, red, blue, or green. It works better than the Manic Panic, in my opinion. My kids are all blondes technically so that might be why the colors work so well on their hair.

BUDDY- did I tell you how AMAZING your wishlist is?!? So many options! THANK-YOU!

I'm heading to Esapnola for the weekend. I'm keeping my mom company when she takes Tyler(her grandson/my nephew) to his Camp Quality Camp Reunion(summer camp for children who have survived cancer or are going through cancer treatments--my nephew is a survivor )

I have my coupons packed and plan to stuff 3 trains. I planned it that way. I am also going to shop at Giant Tiger.. we don't have one here and they sell the worlds most comfortable underwear. HA! I know how silly it sounds but they are fabulous. $2 a pair.. they don't shrink and most importantly, they don't ride up my bum. We call them "sexy granny panties". BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!

I'm super excited for next weekend too. Hubby and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We are not doing anything to fancy... we are hoping to spend the day together if his work schedule allows it. We are looking forward to our Cuba trip in January that is our Chrismas present to each other AND we will have a romantic dinner(or two) to celebrate our five years.

OH, NickiB... We will be in London ON in February for the Provincial Billiard Championships. We are staying at the "Downtown Hilton". February 12th-17th. Maybe a coffee???
we have a camp like that out here that my son used to go too for kids with disabilities...they are the best for them

In total he has raised over $25000 since then on his own (with a little help from Mom and Dad of course) by knocking on doors in our neighborhood and asking friends and family. This year he set himself a goal of $8000, he put together a live auction and combined with his canvassing he is at $7338.52 this year, and the walk is on Sunday. He plans to spend all day tomorrow out knocking on doors until he gets his goal. If any of you are looking for a charity to support this year every little pledge will bring him that much closer to his goal. Here is his online link for anyone that is interested. Thank you ladies
