We do an Xmas Basket and an Easter Basket raffle, we rely on parades for $$ too, we had two cancellations this fall which lost us a possible $800. Just wondering what neat stuff might be out there for us to try.

Epicure has a fantastic fundraiser, I can help you out with that if your group would be interested in going that route, send me a PM

I will, I would love more info!

On another note - I registered my Girl Guide Unit for the Dove Sleep Over and apparently I was one of the first 100 to sign up and this basket was sent to me as well as 16 bottles of spray for my girls!
It was too funny, I just got it this afternoon and then got a WagJag email for the basket lol

Avon and Regal are two fundraisers that I've done in the past that have done well.
Avon has a set fundraising item, and Regal, you can sell from the catalogue etc.

OMG!!!! I have officially gotten my butt into the Christmas Spirit, now all I need is snow to complete it. I have finished shopping for my buddy and only need to finish making one more thing, I have already started wrapping gifts and I went to my garage and starting hauling out the Christmas lights..... I am way ahead of the game this year. I even found some gifts for some of the family.

Now time to make some eggnog and wrap more prezzies and find a box big enough to send everything Hope my buddy likes my choices, I can't wait for them to get them. I am having trouble deciding in what order to give them though, I want them all opened at the same time.

He will eventually adjust, just be super patient . These articles found at the San Francisco SPCA website will prove invaluable to you.

At one time, not long after I adopted our first dog, I was looking to get in touch with Jean Donaldson who is one of the world's leading canine behaviorists. She studied in Montreal and I finally managed to get a hold of her while she was director of the SFSPCA. That's when I also found their online library of canine and feline articles. For sure you'll find something to help you and your new kitty. And, btw, thank you for adopting an older cat .

A little Christmas Cheer... since I have no kids to post cute photo's of, I thought I'd post one for a laugh..

This was our work Christmas Greeting last year.. was meant to be a joke, but I was out voted and they actually chose this! You can guess which oddball is me...

It wouldn't be the first time I got the shaft on looking "great" for the Christmas greeting... a few years ago we sent out postcards with us posed around Santa. Apparently, you could see rather far up the side of my skirt!!! Thank goodness for black tights and black skirt, it wasn't too revealing!
