why don't you hold a casino night or do the bingo thing. i hear those raise a ton of money. Or an online auction, we do that every year in the spring and it raises a fair amount. Hit up your local businesses for donations along with stuff from the kids/parents themselves. Plus that one is fairly easy to run...at least in comparison to the in-person events.

our christmas tree the first year in our apartment (before DD was on the scene - I cant believe how spacious my apartment looks without tons of kids toys etc)
my decorating style is the same but with more ornaments and now since DD only the top 3/4 has "nice" decorations and the bottom 1/4 has soft/stuffy/child friendly decorations lol
edit note - the couch in the corner of the photo is our old couch, which was destroyed by DD, sadly it was in better condition than our current couch - photo of that to comeLast edited by julesie-pie; Wed, Oct 17th, 2012 at 07:13 PM. Reason: adding edit note

Well buddy, a couple things I ordered for Junior Buddy arrived today! One present came in a purple box so my son thought it was for him. Luckily he's happy with the purple box lol. A few more gifts on the way... hope they arrive soon! This shopping for someone else is filling in my need to shop when upset
It's been a rough day!

I have to share my DS 15 decided to let my daughter roll him up in our area rug. I asked them kindly not to do this but alas they did anyways. so once my son was rolled up with his arms at his side i put a wedge in so he couldn't roll out and put peanut butter on his face and let the pug loose on him.

LOL I just got a complete mental image
My kids are sitting here wondering if their mother is cracking up because I am laughing so hard. Mine are not at the teenager stage yet but I already finding out, don't look a gift horse in the mouth when they present you with such an opportunity for a little revenge.

I have no guess about what you are counting, everyone has guessed what I might guess!
I wish I had slept all day lol. Hope you feel better soon! And I do have a camera (though I think I put that already) and am also waiting for ppl who aren't posting
I am very glad there was a big lead time on this train, from start to maildate. It's allowed me to order a few special little things that take time to get.
Oh. I'm ok with whatever my buddy wants to send (including bulk barn goodies, and FPC's etc).
I can't remember who was looking for the fund raising ideas but my neices synchro team used to sell gift cards through a company, you can message me if you'd like more info. Basically you are selling gift cards to pretty much everywhere and the team gets a portion of the funds. I believe they made some good money doing it, especially this time of year in time for xmas gifts.

I have finished shopping for my buddy and only need to finish making one more thing, I have already started wrapping gifts and I went to my garage and starting hauling out the Christmas lights..... I am way ahead of the game this year. I even found some gifts for some of the family.
Hope my buddy likes my choices, I can't wait for them to get them. I am having trouble deciding in what order to give them though, I want them all opened at the same time.
