I'm on a Fundraising committee for my girls Dance Studio. We do following fundraisers on a regular basis:
Elmira Chicken
MaGregors meats
McMillans (pies, cookies, cheesecakes e.t.c)
Pampered Chef
Hockey Pool (my most favorite and profitable fundraiser!)
Fundscript (Gift cards)
Aunt Sarah chocolates
You can find info about all of these online, or you can PM me if you have any questions.
OMG, I love this! I could totally picture you "kindly telling them to stop" and they continued not so kindly ignore you. The sweet smell or revenge...
Yeh, but just think what happens to the brightest pumpkins on the patch? That's right, they get carved
and the cute ones are still there.. just saying...

Do any of you ladies (and couponclepto, don't want to exclude him LOL) have an advise for me on what's the best type of dog food (not the brand but rather if it's for Senior, Puppy, Adult dog e.t.c) to donate to the local food shelter?
Last year I won a year supply of dog food from Oliver & Pets (our local Pet Store). When I filled out a ballot I had to specify the brand of dog food that I was using, I wrote Nutro. My prize was given in a form of 12 x $50 vouchers for any Nutro products. I was super excited but, as some of you know my dog is a toy poodle and he REALLY doesn't eat much. A bag of 5 lbs Nutro food lasts him couple of months, if not more. I still have 6 vouchers left ($300) that expire in Jan 2013, and was thinking that it will be a good idea to buy some dog food and donate it to a local SPCA. Conveniently there were $4 Nutro coupons in the last insert, which makes it $10/bag!

I'm going to have to say no to Shopping Channel based on experience...
Hubby was laid off for 2 years with pay (autoworkers rghhhh) few years back, stayed at home watching Y&R and Shopping Channel and drove me NUTS! I come home one day and he announced me that he bought FOR ME a steam vacuum device. The device arrived and I found out that the cost of shipping was almost the same as the device itself. And on top of that, few times I tried to use it, it wasn't doing it for me. It got banished in a basement...
I swore never to watch Shopping channel.
Fast forward a year, me and DH are on holidays in Newfoundland and watching TV. I don't know why or how but the TV got switched to Shopping channel where they were selling those "magic wallets" that expands and let you keep all your credit cards in one place. What a great idea, but wait, if I call now they would send me two wallets!! Wallets arrived, were too small, if you place more then 6 cards they wouldn't close. Another failure...
It must be me, but I'm not a fan of Shopping channel...
