Lucky for us we are roughly in the same city! Hubby parents live about 15 mins outside the city so no one really needs to stay at anyones house. My dad comes over for Christmas morning to do our gifts and "santa" gifts with the kids then after lunch we go out to hubby's parents for the rest of the day trying not to be out too late so we can be up bright and early and out the door on Boxing Day!

Well, was just working on my second coffee and logged onto facebook to see that my daughter has posted she is getting a tatoo today???!!!!!!????
She is 19 and I don't have a problem HOWEVER, she might give me a wee bit of warning because her Daddy is the one who will have a major POOP. We have to work these things in slowly with him LOL. It was a major meltdown for each and everyone of the peircings she got and I cannot imagine what this will be like.
Maybe I will just wrap her up in paper until after Christmas

That sounds like it'd be so much fun. Family trips are always great...when you don't see the family that often! lol...A family trip with some family members can be a little more 'hectic' than enjoyable if you ask me! My family in Denmark is the best, and unfortunately we only get to see each other once every couple of years! I totally understand the pressures of trying to make a trip abroad. You'll find a way, I'm sure you can! My New Year's resolution is to put aside all of the money I save on coupons etc into a jar/savings. The money I 'save' with coupons, is only really going to be 'saved' if I take it out of my pocket and put it somewhere it's going to accumulate. I'm horrible at leaving money in my daily banking account for 'a rainy day'...I need it out of sight so that it's out of mind! I used to really like the Scotiabank 'bank the rest' program for that...they'd automatically round all transactions up to the nearest dollar of $5 increment and transfer it to your 'Moneymaster' account (high interest savings account). It was great for collecting that electronic 'spare change' and added up fast. I stopped banking with Scotia though when I got divorced...no more 'banking the rest' for me. Now it's an old school change jar
...Which also adds up quickly if I ignore it!

There's an Easter train?
I'm not at all crafty so next one is out for me. Plus I'm a little broke lol, too much shopping lately I guess. My new hobby should be de-cluttering my house... I really hate that garbage pickup here is every two weeks, I clean and put it in bags but then it sits around for two weeks, and then I have so much stuff to take out! So annoying. I am hoping that once I get through all this "stuff" I'll be able to keep it up, though I think hiring cleaners is in my New Years plans.

I'm in for the next train(as long as maildate is before Jan 16th-- cause I will be enjoying sun and sand)-- I will try to make something crafty and I can find a craft sale around Christmas, I'm sure!
I take my package train money out of our "entertainment budget"-- Mostly, I give up a massage. LOL! I also have a package train cupboard and I pick things up all the times on sales and clearance because I know it will show up on someones wishlist
We have a cleaning lady--we are not "snobby", "rich" or "spoiled". Hubby and I will never, ever, EVER give her up(and if she leaves us.. we will have someone else). We save in other areas to afford this service. She comes every Friday afternoon. Hubby and I have a super clean house for the weekend and we get to spend the time together... not cleaning. We know its only a few hours... but its a few hours we both want to do other things. It works for us.

ookay train plans are a changing....some of you are still tied up with sc exchanges...some of you either can't ride or conduct a train.....I am thinking of holding a train within a train.....what do you guys think ? we have all seen stuff we wished we would have bought/sent/made ect ...
so I was thinking of making a list of those who want to ride and you could either have your same buddy or I could match you with someone else...no need to send wishlists as we all have answered lots of questions..
..
as for how many items you send....totally up to the sender...but this doesn't mean hurry off to dollarama ...I know I shouldn't have to say this but I will get many p'ms asking me if this is okay...
your items could be bought /made by you/made by someone else...baked ect
please quote this if you are interestedLast edited by Jezebel; Mon, Nov 26th, 2012 at 03:08 PM.

thankfully she stays off the counter....or so I think..if she does go on the table or counter it has to be while I am out LOL
- I am amazed and sick to my stomach all at once, must go to bed now after watching a 25yr old man with a 76yr old lady making plans to go up to their room together!!! What else can TLC come up with!!!
) ...I too can't/don't live up to their standards in housekeeping. With the two of them it is possible to keep the house perfect all the time, with a toddler, pre teen and a senior -I'm pretty happy if we go 5 min without it looking like a bomb went off again! I gave up trying to impress them long ago.
