Has anyone else confirmed this date - Dec 1st? And is it only the 1 day? I recall both Sat and Sun for mega-redemptions in the past.

I've confirmed with multiple SDM managers that December 1st will be the mega redemption in Ontario. I assume it will be all weekend but I didn't ask outright. Redemptions are usually over two days though.

I just received some 16,000 BP WUS $100 coupons that expire Dec. 3....I know they don't usually work on a points promo (20x etc.), but has anyone had success using them during a redemption promo?

I used those coupons in June when they came out & on 20X day & got the extra points! yaya!! Also in the past I used on redemption & got them too! Now you never know about this 100% as SDM system is wacky sometimes ...but give it a try!

This is just a guess, but I would say no (unless you're still going to pay $100 oop after redemption and before taxes). My reasoning is just that when you redeem, it's decreasing your total like a store coupon, is it not? I don't think redeeming is the same as paying with cash. I could be wrong though, I'm not very knowledgeable on these things.

I know that you DON'T earn base points during a redemption.
I know that you DO earn bonus points if a product has them.

What I don't know is if you can still use VIB coupons to earn points on products if you're also redeeming? And I mean the actual product points, not the spend "x" on "y" and earn "z" points.

I received same in mail today - the first line on the ottom of the coupon says "...after discounts and redemptions and before taxes." So I would say no this cannot be used with a redemption; furthermore the points will be added by Jan 3, 2013 so even if cashier scans it I doubt points would be added.

I hope I'm well enough for the mega redemption. My surgery is close to this date and I'm hoping I won't be in too much pain etc. I may have to get someone to drive me over and make a quick shopping spree. I'll have to plan ahead of time what I would like to get.

I went through my redemption shop from last year, and IF (big if) I manage to get enough points for a $250 redemption, my list will be changing drastically from what it was! It's amazing what changes in a year!

Last year I had liquid tide & gain dryer sheets in my shop - this year that's out as I have been making my own laundry soap & fabric softener since earlier this year.

I do think I will increase the number of Catelli sauces that I buy - this week we used the last jar I got in my shop last year so I would like to stretch that out longer.

Hopefully there will be at least one more 20x WUS $50 before then (the $75 one is no good to me as it's for perfume & cosmetics).
