I haven`t been on this thread in a while. I guess when things are going reasonably well we tend to forget. I`m sorry to hear so many of you are in such pain. Hope you get relief soon. Hugs and prayers sent your way.

Still the aftermath of being strapped down for testing, Skippy?
So sorry...hope it settles down as soon as possible.

I'm feeling better, and can eat again. Didn't eat from Monday morning till Thursday night this week, the pain was so serious I didn't want to increase it by eating. Well on the upside, I did lose a pound or two.

Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad that you are feeling better.
Pardon my ignorance, but how does eating increase pain?
If I'm in pain, I often can't eat because I'll puke. However, Gravol helps.

Hope this isn't too much information, but:
Eating increases pain when a person has scar tissue, polyps, diverticulosis in the intestinal tract. My old appendix operation scar tissue periodically swells and tears in lesions (from sensitivity to spices, etc); at the same time all the abdominal and intestinal polyps swell, stretch & tear and cause extreme pain. All I can do is drink plain tea or boiled water for days, and flush my system till it recovers. This happened right after I drank Celestial Seasoning Spice tea (with all that pepper and spice in it) several days in a row. Love that tea, but barely survived the effects to my entire system, it was so irritating.

Sounds like a migraine, however if you have not had this happen to you before, you should probably have it checked out.

    Thanks Skippy and Andit

I have had constant chronic migraines for 5 years in May. Axe like down the centre of my head with a band migraine and I get steak knife ones too. They can"t find anything that will give me relief- been to so many doctors and alter. treatments. I never gone one second without a headache for the last 5 years.

I can usually get down a premier protien shake on days like that. I get them from costco. But I really hate those days too. Feel better

It is a bloody shame that one cannot take a proper shower because of the pain, or ends up in pain as the result of one!

Hugs to every one. On top of all else, I now have hot flashes. Thank you menopause They aren't too bad yet, at least it's winter. Mid summer might be another story! I'm off on vacation tomorrow. Hope things stay calm so I can enjoy it all. Take care all.

In tears after shopping ordeal with DW.
I never cry, but am so fed up with the pain and my actions.
