Last week I purchase 2 cans of Carnation cans because they where cheaper to make a recepies...But now I am not sure it is the same things as my recepie need ... ''Eagle Brand'' so what is the difference.. or any suggestions to make recepies with Carnation? And I found the famous Folgers Booklet today...purchase my 2 cans before...so wasted 2,00$...but thats another thing

Carnation is a brand of evaporated milk, it is different than Eagle Brand condensed milk, which has a lot of sugar added to it. The evaporated milk is just that, some of the water has been evaporated so that you have a thicker, creamier product. You can not use these two products interchangeably.

You substitute it in anything that calls for regular milk. I use it in home-made cream soups mostly, it gives them a creamy texture without the added calories and cost of using cream.they probobly have recipes on their web site. hope you find something good!!
