KFC won't deliver despite the fact that I live in a town where there are 45k+ people and there is a KFC joint 5 minute drive away. I guess this is a good thing.
DH and I got Swiss Chalet delivery one time a long time ago and it was horrible. Took really long to get there, food was cold and bun could of given someone a black eye if you tossed it at them thats how hard it was. The worst part of this is the food is the exact same quality if you go to the store and order except you get the added benefit of having to wait 15 minutes for them to "make" your order. I cringe to think of the dine in experience at this location.
I usually just stick to McD's but the other night proved to be just as bad with a very dry crunchy (burnt) burger. Was very impressed that my $10 for such an amazing meal.
But yes I do know what you mean. My biggest problem when you order in and don't receive something is they won't give you a refund but rather a "credit" to your account of something ridiculous like $1-$5 and its never there the next time you call in to order.Insert Clever Signature Here

Trust me you are not missing out much on the KFC front, it is a blessing in disguise
My limited experience with Swiss Chalet was just really gross rubbery chicken both times, so I gave up on them the second time it happened. But what's even crazier is the fact that the Swiss Chalet in my town is always jam packed. McD's has yet to disappoint me, their food may not be top notch but they have always been the most consistent in terms of quality I have come across
I think we as a society have been accustomed to accepting the fact that we are dishing out hard earned cash for mediocre meals and the mediocre service that often comes along with it. I seriously have not been to a good restaurant in ages and no I don't just go to fast food joints before anybody jumps on that, various restaurants - chains and independent ones as well.

Anyway, I have had this problem but it's mostly with local restaurants... they're usually pretty good about replacing things or refunding money but not always!!

Everybody is entitled to their opinion but nobody is entitled to dictate what I can/should eat

It's all good, you take the good with the bad and the just plain ignorant that's all
Local restaurants I find usually try a little bit harder to resolve the solution in a timely and agreeable manner, but I agree not always! That being said, no one has yet to irk me in such a way that KFC has, I am a pretty passive person and things usually do not get to me - I was two steps away from going to the store myself for a few choice words with that manager

Omg do not even get me started on Tim Hortons, that should be in a separate rant post on it's own!
While I have never had anything missing from any Tims orders I have placed through drive through, the coffee consistency is one of the most irritating things I have experienced, how is it possible for me to order the same thing everyday and never get the same consistency of coffee two days in a row .. grr
I usually stop off in the morning, I will go through drive thru only due to the fact that if I go inside, no matter if there is 1 person infront of me or zero, I would have had faster service via the drive thru.
