Customer lied to me in line

there was a customer at walmart in brampton today doing a lot of couponing and price matching. she bought 76 zantac, hand soap 1.00 ea wethers candy.88 ea, glad garbage bags 1.50 ea alberto gel 1.00 ea. I ask her where she got the flyer from and she gave me the wrong names, I thought I would come home and print the fleyers and go and price match these things, now I can't find any of the flyers she was talking about after all her coupons and price matching she got 31.00 back from walmart.

why would she do it? unles it was flyer from another province.

I wonder which stores have the garbage bags on sale with the 2.00 would be free and overage.

I've never been able to print online flyers then get a store to match it. Is that really possible anywhere?

It seems like the customer took advantage, however, I also thought that the price matches had to be local competitors. Maybe I'm incorrect, but I thought that the flyers could only be for stores that are in the local area.

I didn't see any of these deals posted here, so not sure where these flyers r from. I'm in Brampton and would love to get some of those deals and overage too.

Both WM Supercentres around me don't accept printouts from online - you need the actual flyer.

OP, I don't know why she would intentionally misguide you unless she was doing something she shouldn't have been allowed to do. Or perhaps it was an honest mistake and she actually got flyers mixed up?

She had a print out of the flyers. She would not allow me to look at the flyers. have anyone here saw a flyer with werthers candy for .88-.50 coupons? when I go back to walmart I will inform them to look at her flyers closer to see where they r from, they seem to know her.

I have been to the WM in Brampton and they have accepted print-outs of flyers while price matching

But in any case, some of these deals sound a little too good to be true

I think that's exactly what happened. She'd have to admit to committing fraud because what she was doing wasn't legit.

I'm not really inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt with price matching. It's not an honest mistake to try and price match save-on-foods in Ontario, because there are no chains in Ontario, so you actually have to be trying to cheat the system. I suppose the only mistake could be thinking that bringing any flyer in can constitute a price match, when it has to be a competitor.
