Well, you don't need to bring all the coupons you have, just bring one's that clearly state the information for instance,
1- they shouldn't be printed; some stores don't take coupons that are printed
2- check if you can use it in canada
3- check the expiration date
4- see if it the item can only be used for a certain item for instance, eggos waffles 16 box, you can't use it with a eggos waffles 10 box coupon
5- Check if it has a code bar
6- Check if it says, limited to one item per purchase meaning; you can only use this for one item for instance, a coupon for toothpaste, and you have two coupons you can use however if you use the coupon with limited one item per purchase, you can only use that one coupon for that toothpaste.
You should be fine if you follow these, and they don't take up more than one minute to read : ).

Thanks for doing this!
Has anyone had luck presenting these? Since they don't have the company letterhead, I wonder if stores might question if these are legitimate correspondence from the company's HQ?

Thank you for all your hard work, however I agree with some of the others. I personally would never print these and bring them into the stores. As they are clearly misinformed and interpreting the "one per purchase" as "one per transaction", this would make my couponing trips a much bigger hassle. I have a great cashier at my Wal-Mart who has been there 20 years and knows what the real meaning is so I go to her all the time. I don't understand why all the push-back when it comes to coupons? They are getting their money back and some with the handling fees. I think we should all sign some sort of petition and send it off to all the major manufacturers asking them to change all the wording to "one per item". It is to their advantage as they are the ones who want us to use their coupons, right?

I was at LD today trying to PM and item and I was told that HQ has limited the PM to one item only. This was the rule since March 28, 2011. I went to 2 other stores and they all said the same. Limited to one PM only and item only. The one on Hastings wouldn't even take the coupon if it was more than 1 penny over the item.

Feel free any time to take on the task yourself of contacting store headquarters, having them send you official letters with letterhead via snail mail, scanning the documents, creating pdf documents, and uploading them to share with other SCers. Until you are prepared to assist instead of criticize then I guess you will just have to settle with the info on here as is.

Sounds great Quebecqueen. Keep us posted. I'll help anyway that I can
