I'm with ann on this too.. I really don't want to "spend" money for full price CG when I can stack coupons and get it for free at LD .. I know it's bonus redemption day, but still.. I never considered myself stingy, but this is borderline :LOL

We don't have LD here, cannot stack I will get about $30 worth of CG and add milk, juice, other food items on sale to make it $75. Things I would buy anyway at Freshco and Food Basics and some CG products = $20 Esso + lots of Optimum points. Works for me

I already had 6 CG lipsticks picked out for redemption before the 50X points was announced so its worth it to me to do $75 & get the gas card too!! & extra points!

I bought a CG lipstick at SDM earlier this week and it was on sale at 7.99 If I need more CG cosmetics, I will definitely wait until this weekend(50x, great deal by the way), but I just can't think of anything else. I will just pick up some 0.99 toothpaste this weekend and enjoy others SCer's SDM brag.

I have enough to do multiple redemptions, so I'm having enough trouble figuring out how many I'm going to do and what I'm going to get! I'm trying to be a good girl and stick to groceries and necessities but you never know what will happen once I get to SDM Muhahahahaha!

Just got back from my early morning CG shop. I bought 11 items which were $91.39 before tax and coupons. Total after coupons was $75.39 (5 x $3 off and 1 x $1 off) so just enough to get my Esso card. OOP after tax ($10.50 ) was $85.89 and I earned 45,500 points. This was my first big points shop and I'm pretty happy with it! I only had 5,000 points before today, so now I have enough to do the bonus redemption! I forget to try and use the printed 3,000 points coupon from Glow mag, though. Oops.

The cashier told me I wouldn't get points on the coupons. I just said "that's OK", knowing full well I would She also said I couldn't use multiple of the brandsaver insert coupons because it said "one per purchase", but then I showed her where it said I could use 4 in one shopping trip. The 3rd was the P&G mailed coupon, which is slightly different and has a different bar code.

Thanks SCers for teaching me so much and giving me courage to speak up and correct cashiers! I've learnt so much!

Well I hummed and hawed over how much to buy (if anything) and what to buy. This is what I ended up with:

CG ultimate finish foundation
CG concealed
CG exact eyelight shadow
CG shadow blast
CG amazement gloss
Milk 3 bags
Harry Potter preorder
Olay lotion sale $3 x 2 - $5 wub2 = $0.50 each

Spent $49 on CG for bonus points and the other stuff brought me up over $75 for the gas card. Total points = 25790! yay!
