THis is awsome. Thanks for that link. I just ordered the cat food coupon for $3 off and the dog food coupon for $5 off. Today we had to pick all the pets up their food and the total was $137. If I had a coupon for each bag it would have brought that down by $13. Which would have been very nice. So the more I can get the better. Thanks agian.

Does anyone else have pet food they feed that is hard to find a coupon for? Or other things? I would love to be able to do the same in return.

So sorry to take so long to write!
I am Carma from Chestermere, AB. My husband and I are lucky enough to have 2 lovely but VERY busy children. Our daughter is almost three and our son is turning one.
I was trying to come up with a pretty funny handle for Smart Canucks like "Couponing Carma" but my family kept putting a "Crazy" in front of the couponing Carma part, lol. So since I have taken charge of the savings using coupons I decided that Householdsaver was a great name for me!
We dont currently have any pets but my daughter and husband are both "hounding" me to get a dog, but they havent worn me down yet.
I plan to stockpile some items, especially if they have a long shelf life or dont actually expire. I have diapers and formula already but plan to get multiples of many items so that I dont have to go to the grocery store as often. I have also been lucky enough to find great deals so some have been donated and given to family and friends!
I am very excited to learn with and from the group and cant wait for the next assignment!
Here are some name suggestions I have come up with from the help of my sister in law.
: simple savers
: clipping cuties
: clever clippersSavings since coupon mania began on February 11, 2011=$3592.72

I have several Iams Dry Cat food coupons. I am going to take them out of my trade binder and set them aside for you EJEJ.
Welcome to the group Carma.
Rebecca123 thanks so much. We also did our grocery shopping yesterday and between Shoppers Drug Mart, Giant Tiger, Superstore, Sobeys and Walmart we saved over $100 with the coupons and matching them to sales and such. Plus we get an automatic 10% off because my husband works at Walmart so that is a huge plus.
We are slowly starting to stock pile. My goal right now is to get 3 extras of everything that is non perishable. Once I have that amount then I will increase that to 6 of each and so on. Right now we have our laundry detergent and fabric softner, body wash, cascade, shampoo and conditioner, tooth paste, hand soap, some of the house hold cleaners too that we have 3 of each for. Each paycheck we pick 2 or more items to stock up with where they match the sales.
So how are you all doing it?

Anyone know of any coupons on Campbells Soup Stock (the tetra paks)? I use this quite a bit but haven't seen any coupons as yet.

Do you mean the campbells chicken/beef broth? Go to coupons trading section and search for them. I believe they are good until July 31,2011...If you need some, I can keep an eye out for you. The best deal I got was at NF in Jan this year when they were on sale for $1 - $1 WUB2, it came at 50c/carton...at that time I had over 30 coupons that expire Jan 31, I stocked up 60, save 30 for our house and the other 30 gave to the St. Vincent De Paul food bank/shelter.

Wow - amazing shops everyone.
I did a Shoppers 20x the points day. Only a few coupons - FPCs but the cashier entered them as 2001 so I was lucky and received bonus points. I buy food - butter, eggs, cream cheese, frozen fruit, milk, trail mix, dried fruit.
Total spent was $70
less a MIR product = $55.
Bonus ~ 14,000 ($28) worth on redemption day.
Coupons used
2x $1 off Europe's Best Fruit
1x $3 wub 4 Kraft products
2 x FPC for Nestea 12 pack cans
1 x FPC for Stouffers entree
I popped into London Drugs to buy cornflakes (forgot I had a coupon - dah!)
I knew the medium sized Kleenex boxes were on sale 2 for $2 and I had a coupon that was expiring soon-- save $1 wub2 so planned to buy a few at 50 cents each. Turns out there was another new coupon beside the Kleenex with a new upc, so I stacked and stocked up on "free" kleenex - just paying the tax.

I think they have some blue band soup stock ones and there are coupons for money off blue band soups -- are you okay with the lower salt ones?

I'm not familiar with Blue Band soup stock...where do they sell them? I am fine with low salt..I actually prefer it if I have a choice and price is equal
Yes the Campbells beef/chicken broth is what I'm looking for. I just started collecting recently (less than a month ago) so don't have any. I don't know if anyone will trade with me since I'm so new here?Last edited by jujubetwins; Sun, Apr 17th, 2011 at 01:10 PM.
