I think it would keep a lot of us motivated and have friends here to talk about all of our positives, our negatives, and anything in between.

OK, is this where we sign up for the club? Or is this just a proposal to take a vote on possibly setting one up?
As for me, I would join. I generally tend to do better on things when I go solo, but so far my attempts to shed those extra pounds have not been so successful.
I think a weight loss support thread would be a great idea! Since many of us have been around SC for a while, we already know what a supportive community we have. Losing weight is just as much emotional as it is physical. Having the support of a caring and nonjudgemental community is very important. Since we already have such a community here, why not make use of it?

maybe we can compare the effects we have on different diets....weight watcher, south beach, etc..what works, what doesn't...what you like or don't like about the diet

I would love to join! So far I have lost 12lb on my own, but I have about 10-15 more to go. I think its a great idea!

i am just built for comfort not speed.i have no excuse i have no baby weight, i just have weight.i think i need more support to get my eating patterns on track to start. it makes a big difference so i don't binge.

I would join
I started exercising yesterday From my amazon gift card I bought a set of Jillan micheals workouts.....lemme tell ya....
45 mins of kickboxing workout isnt fun, I stopped half way through, grabbed a bagel and cream cheese and some water.....hahah then went back and finished. my legs are sore today. and did a mild excercise today. I'd be motivated to motivate other ladies!

So now we know who will join. Where do you propose we keep this little club?
I am totally in I have a sort of walking group( we have been slacking for a amonth now) I have lost and regained 10 lbs. I want to be at 165 right now I am 176.
We walk about 5-6 kms. every mon., wed., fri. helps alot!!
So put down that bad for you food while you are ereading this. I can see you don't you know? go grab an aqpple or a carrot. It will make you feel much better.
Put your legs together out in front of you and slowley raise and lower them bending at the kneee.
anyone else know of chair exercises to do while feeding our addiction of SC?I think I am going to run a round outside all naakid and such.... I need a vacation!! Jail house here I come!!!!

5 or 6 km i would die. i will start by making a weekly goal, every friday. my goal for the week is to walk 4 times a week at least for 30 mins. i have to become more active and this is a start, my back is still really bad.
i will not lie if i don't do it but it helps if i have support. thanks guys.
are you going to make a goal?

I would like to join. I'm feeling depressed lately and I know exersise would help my outlook.
Remember that even though pets are here for such a short time they teach us things we would never be able to learn in many lifetimes on our own.
