I was able to get 6 bags but I just checked the expiry dates and 2 of them expired in August 2012 and the rest in Sept, Oct 2012. Now I have to take them back.

The same thing happened to me at the same Safeway 3 weeks ago with Old Dutch coupons. I had 4 bags of chips that expired October 31. I was able to exchange them for fresher bags of chips but I don't think I'll be able to do the same with the Hershey Drops. My Safeway only had the Cookie's and Cream Hershey Drops, the chocolate were all gone, and


Now I'll have to deal with customer service and returning products that I used coupons on. That's always fun.

That's true, however I'm putting those in Christmas Gift Bags and I don't want the receipients to think I'm giving them something that has been sitting in my house for months.

If you contact the company they will send you a free product coupon or voucher. Saves you the hassle of going back to Safeway.

no they wont send you a free coupon because it is up to the store to rotate their stock and sell before expiry not the company the store they buy it from.

Went out on Saturday and bought some of these, cost was .71 with the taxes per bag, and I got one free as they had the wrong price ringing up on them
