Just recently I started to receive clothes for my son from family. But my oldest daughter - there is no one bigger than her. I was going through her clothes and checking out TCP to buy some stuff but then decided to ask on Freecycle instead.
I was e-mailed quickly offering a box of girls clothing. I get to the person's house and she asked if I wanted winter clothes too (I had asked for summer) - I said sure. She then asked if I had a son and what size - she then also gave me 2 boxes of boys clothes. So I received 4 boxes of clothes for my kids!
I love to shop for clothes for the kids - but this is so nice to be able to save money on clothes.
If the person who gave these to me is a smartcanucker - Thanks so much again! This thread is currently associated with: N/ACollecting Campbell's soup labels for our school RAKs greatly appreciated.

Thats great news. Freecycle is a great way to help everyone in the community with items that can be reused at no cost. I've gotten a few items from freecycle! wtg, thanks for sharing your brag.

freecycle is great when you can contact the person right away.. I find our local chapter things get snatched up quickly
.
I am a "senior canuck" but have been away from the site for awhile.. Please be patient with me as I go through and re-learn the ins and outs, do's and don'ts once again.
. I look forward to chatting and trading with all of you

That's great for you! Must be lots of people doing spring cleaning, because there are many kids' clothes offers on our local site as well.

I love freecycle. I've saved so much $ thru it and people are so generous. It's so nice how you got more than you expected.
