Canadian sites such as TCP, Old Navy, amazon.ca arrive VERY quick; American ones I order from tend to take over a week, some have taken weeks (eg ShoeDazzle and DrJays).
Before Christmas, I placed an order on the TCP website around 2:30 Monday morning; at 5 something am I received an order saying it had been processed, and my package was delivered at 3 something that same afternoon!
The Old Navy order I placed at the same time arrived Thursday, but that is about a day later than it would normally arrive...RRLF: Cineplex Passes, Optimum Points (and my sanity...I think I lost it a while back

I dont really have GASP a budget per say. I kinda just go with a feeling like a theme of who the person is. I almost forget that I am getting a package until it comes than I am so excited because I know that person spent days sometime month thinking of the perfect thing to get me. I figure I am cheap everywhere else this is like my cheat! and DH hubby loves he sees how happy it makes me and it its cheaper than therapy!

Most stuff from the US gets to me in 11 days lol, but that's from when it ships, and sometimes places are slow to ship things. So for this I have stuck to Canadian ETSY shops, Amazon.ca & Walmart.ca. I am starting to look for Easter things too already though, in anticipation of that train lol.
I just noticed amazon.ca has the Prime thing available now, apparently it's very popular in the US so they have brought it to Canada, says first month free (of course lol) and then $79 plus tax for the year, you get 2 day shipping, and I'm not sure what else.
Mailman must be here, dog is getting antsy...

If my buddy can order from Amazon.com I would like this for my DD (I have been looking all over or these and can't seem to find them in Canada)

I know! It is crazy! It is the same with ToysRUs.com and Walmart.com!
They have so much more stuff at such better prices! (but Walmart.com doesn't ship here, and ToysRUs.com can't send video games across the border
)
That is HILARIOUS!
They ship quite a bit to Canada, but there are somethings that they can't...RRLF: Cineplex Passes, Optimum Points (and my sanity...I think I lost it a while back

not sure what shipping is from them directly, but it's a Canadian site (in Ottawa) just in case anyone needs/wants to find them here

I can relate...My husband is one of the cheapest people I have ever met in my life, yet he doesn't say anything about me doing these! I was REALLY waiting for him to say something when I was wrapping and packing up for the advent train, but nothing...?
