*YAWN* what a night and long day i had. Sooooo, last night at 3am, hubby's cell phone rings. It's two of his friends that are drunk from the hockey tournament and wanting to crash on our couch in the basement because his wife wouldn't let them come back home. lol Being the nice folks we are, he says okay because we'd rather them sleep in a warm house than pass out in their freezing cold vehicle. So they come over and hubby goes downstairs to make sure they stay quiet since baby is obviously sleeping and they stay up for awhile chatting. I roll around in bed but totally can't fall back asleep because I am wide awake at this point now. Hubby crawls back into bed sometime after 5am, but we chat for a bit and try to fall asleep. His alarm goes off at 6am because he's going target shooting at 7am with another friend. I finally fall asleep for like maybe 45 minutes cuz Jackson woke up at 7am. So crappy night sleep. I tried to have a power nap when he had his morning nap but I think I only got 30 minutes in. Sooooo tired. We were supposed to go to my friend's birthday dinner tonight but we both were so exhausted by then that we totally bailed. Ah well...

Anyways, to catch up on some things:

Eye color: Brown
LuLulemon: Honestly, I don't think I've ever even stepped into a LuLu store. I'd rather buy a bunch of other things than spend that kind of money on clothes. I'm happy with my Walmart yoga pants LOL
Dinner: We ordered pizza for dinner because we obviously had dinner plans but then canceled and were too lazy to make anything ourselves hehe
Pumpkin: Aww, reading that brought tears to my eyes. :D So many people on SC are truly inspiring and amazing and you are definitely one of them

Ok......I think I'm calling bedtime now!! I already texted hubby's friend and said "no sleepovers tonight please" LOL

P.S. I post more Mon - Thurs because I pretty much sit at my computer at work most of the day, whereas Fri - Sun, I'm off work but busy with hubby/baby/etc.

dinner was Phillipino lumpia and spicy/sweet sauce made by a little Lola across the street and my healthy concession some raw cauliflower

I love lumpia - my friend came over this past week and she taught me how to make them - I now have 100 in the freezer!They are great appetizers!

Did some shopping but DD was cranky so didnt buy much... Will do more next weekend for my buddy for sure.

Dinner was sushi

This is the stuff I am fitting/hiding/bringing in hubby's suitcase. Mine is already packed. And we pack 1/2 of my stuff in his suitcase and vise versa. That way, if a bag gets lost we still have clothes

We have a few of the makeup sets and mens sets..... the jewelry sets are for our maid.

Also another big shout out to Peachy who sent the razors, toothpaste, nail files and hand creams that are going this year!! **muah**!

I know I should be sleeeeping. .it's almost 2am over here. but I'm watching some TV and thinking about my date tomorrow. it'll be the first date in six months with my ex-boyfriend. we're going to have some serious discussion about where to go from here.

I lived in Ladysmith for my first 20 years and go back usually once a year to see my mom. My dads parents and family all live in the Comox Valley. So I have spent my share of time in between. Love Parksville! When we go up to Gramas we usually take the inland highway up and take the old highway back for nostalgic reasons. My mom and sis are still on the island - let me know what you need to know and I can likely give/get you an answer!

I have friends in Cumberland - still close to everything. Friends in Nanaimo and just south of Nanaimo with all the murals...can't remember the name of it. Beautiful area all through there as long as its on the eastern side of the island = less brutal weather systems. Sigh. One day I'll maybe live back in BC - I'm reaching the point soon where I'll have been away from BC longer than I've been in it.

Chemainus is where the murals are - I lived on the old Chemainus highway for many years, but closer to Ladysmith in Saltair.
I don't know if I could move back to BC, I love to visit but my old soul belongs in NS.

One more shift at work, yesterday was better than the nuthouse day we had on Friday. I like the weekends when none of the bigwigs are there and we can get away with having our phones on the floor....

For supper last night I had a WW Smart Ones meal - baked Ziti and cheese? And an apple Nutrigrain bar.
The WW meals were/are on sale at WM for 1.97 and with the $5 WUB 4 coupon it made them .72!! So I got some to try. I will be hitting up all my friend to print that coupon for me now and see if they are still on sale this week! There is a breakfast one that is french toast and turkey sausage - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. gets that sweet and salty craving.

Pumpkin - I already know you are amazing but wow - your generosity is off the charts. I am going to miss you for that week you are gone!

I am so blessed to know all you ladies. I can't wait to try the carrot cake recipe.
