Rant time - half way through doing dishes my hot water tap stopped working (it turns round & round but no water comes out). So went to talk to my landlady, besides taking 5 mins to answer the door (I could hear her on the other side but I think she was hoping I would go away), when I told her the problem she said 'its not her problem' and slammed the door in my face! Ummmmm.....last time I check it is her problem.

OMG you need to b#$@h slap that lady...so not called for. You should be able to just tighten the tap but I seriously think a call to the tenancy board needs to take place and make sure you are documenting everything!

OK ladies I have a question. I have changed my eating 100% this week from really bad and a lot of processed food and sugar to fresh fruit, veggies and all healthy stuff. I started Monday so 3 days so far and I have the biggest headache I've ever had....related or no?? I don't want to trouble my DR if it's just a detox from sugar thing but don't want it to continue in pain if it may not be related. Even pain killers aren't working on it..sigh. Maybe looking back I should have made a more gradual change. You know me, all or nothing...LOL

sugar and/or wheat (it is as addicting as heroin to give you an idea of the symptoms of withdrawal). It can last awhile, last time I did it, was a week of headache, along with nausea & other stuff. Don't ask me why I started eating the crap again knowing this lol

yup, I find that i will get a headache if i don't get a lil sugar in me. i've had bad headaches and then take tylenol....nothing happens, and then ill go have a pepsi slushee or something like that and my headache will go away. lol i know it's kinda bad, but i don't eat excessive amounts of sugar, just like to have a lil piece of chocolate or a sweet drink or something to get sugar into me if i'm feeling "low" that day

When I did a total cold turkey detox I got the worst headaches as well. Slow and easy wins the race.

I agree with everyone that the "sugar shock" is probably the cause of the headache... a 3 day headache could be something more. I would call you doctor and let him/her decide

I'm sure its nothing... but better to be safe instead of sorry!!!
