I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Wasn't that impressed with We Are Water by Wally Lamb, the beginning was good, then it slid quickly.
Since then have read Crow Lake by Mary Lawson - good
and currently reading Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden - different but very good.

boyden's a great author. through the black spruce wa another great read. john irving's - "last night in twisted river" is kind of similar.
another great cdn author
just finished '419' by will ferguson. an interesting look at the 419 phenomenon from a few different angles. very different from his 'beauty tips from moosejaw'.

recently read "Dead Wrong: Straight Facts on the Country's Most Controversial Cover-Ups" by Richard Belzer
wow! he should stick to comedy. it was very repetitive and poorly written.
