@GoJays at first I thought the previews of Proud Mary were a bit silly, I was gonna pass on seeing the movie BUT then I saw Taraji's interview with Jimmy Fallon and she convinced me it was worth going to see!
( yes she was only speaking to me through the tv ) ha ha

In case I piqued anyones interest above, dont bother with Tana French's "In The Woods".
There was no formal conclusion on one of the main plot points and it was infuriating!!!!
I was pretty invested by the end and I got to thinking somehow I missed something along the way so I looked at the Good Reads site-sure enough it was practically villagers with pitchforks ready to storm the castle about this book and the lack of a conclusion to the issue. It wasnt just me, so many people were questioning what the heck happened and not in a good way. Some people felt it is "avant garde" but SHEESH, give me a break!
Anyway, looks like I should have read slower, not faster! Rant over, hahaha....

My Good Life in France - Janine Marsh
I enjoyed reading about her exploits from discovering her new run-down home in France to renovating the place. Along the way her insights into the country life, neighbours, and jaunts to the surrounding towns were interesting.

After the horrible experience with Tana French I took inspiration from Rock Lobster and I went running to an old stand-by of mine....Minette Walters
I am re-reading The Shape of Snakes and on the look out for something good for after this one.
