I know we talked about the cookie cutter books a while ago - same protagonist, different names - anyway, I started The Lying Game by Ruth Ware and it sucked me in. It's good so far.

james patterson - the people vs alex cross
it's been a while since the last alex cross book. it was interesting but still all the ego stroking was a bit stomach churning. ('oh but alex, you're the best.....' ' oh alex, no one else could have....' ---)

Finished yesterday: Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwon (in anticipation of seeing the movie version this year). Whoa, talk about money and social climbing pressures! Some storylines in book-not sure if they will make it into the movie.
Really keen to see how Rachel's best friend will be portrayed in the movie.
All of us likely have a relative like Oliver who will do an aunt's bidding in trying to sway an "outsider" out of considering a family member as a future match by saying some other eldest son is richer.
There is some mature content in the book.
This is What Librarians Look Like-Kyle Cassidy. Author interviewed and photographed a couple hundred librarians (mostly US with a few Canadians mentioned) over three years at the annual ALA librarian convention. Quite a range of programs and needs that librarians cater too in their respective branches.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I have been reading this last book so slowly because it was just that crazy of a yarn, BUT according to the author ( Tiffany Haddish ) this stuff all happened to her!!
The Last Black Unicorn by Tiffany Haddish Warning!! .....LOTS and LOTS of swear words throughout this book.
I started another book today that I had gotten before Xmas, The Great Gasbag by Joy Behar ( an A-Z guide about President Donald Trump )
There I was at the hairdresser this morning finishing off Tiffany's book, then I reached into my bag, grabbed Joy's book and started right in....glad I was not stuck leafing through old issues of Flare, Chatelaine or anything else they had there.

I started Red Sparrow by Jason Matthews. I'm usually not into spy novels but this one is pretty good a few pages in.
