the outsider - stephen king
like jays said, it started with a bang! interesting premise. not nearly as gory and gruesome as some of his other tales. almost 'tame'.
i wouldn't call it 'great' but definitely a 'good' read.

born a crime - trevor noah
what a life! his mother is an amazing person. an interesting insight into life in south africa.
not terrifically written. there is some repetition in chapters but each chapter can be read as a stand alone.
