I sometimes overhear someone saying something came up wrong, if it is something I like I go and grab one then call them on the code.
One day this manager got angry at me and said that I should not be so greedy! I found that funny because only some people realize it scans wrong and pay full price, then others notice and get it for the sale price, I want mine free because others have already bought it! GREED BY ME???
for example a store sells gillette shaving cream for $4.99 Regular price. A flyer add says $3.99 yet it scans as $4.99. Some folks have already bought it full price without knowing or noticing, some buy it for $3.99 after correcting the cashier on the sale price. You can see the store is doing ok and can honour the code.
Stores I have never had a problem with include:
Rexall pharma plus (they roll eyes but honour it lol)
Food Basics
Wal-Mart (although had a few cashiers never heard of it as well as saying it does not apply, in the end I get it)
If something scans wrong always say scanning code of pratice, they ussually call manager. If it is under $10 the first item is free each other one is the sale price. If over $10 you get $10 off.

Does T & T Supermarket participate in SCOP? I did a search of this thread for T & T, but nothing shows up.
And is there an updated list of participating retailers? The list at the beginning of the thread is so old!
Thanks.

I asked for my first SCOP today. I was at Independent and was purchasing boxed Prime Chicken that was on sale for $8.99. It came up at $9.99. The cashier asked for a price check and sure enough...it should have been $8.99. I asked that it be SCOP-ed. She had to check with head cashier who gave the ok.

It is funny how many people don't know about this at Walmart - like today was behind a lady that had 2 identical pillows, same upc and everything, cashier says the famous oh well I will correct the price, too which I stepped in and said no she should get the item for free as it was under $10, cashier looked at me like I was crazy and the lady was looking at me even weirder - I even pointed out that nice little sign under plastic at the till and the cashier STILL refused until I said for her to call a manager - the customer was like oh I don't care to which I replied, you should care as you are about to get 2 pillows for the price of one. Even the manager said no just adjust the price until I again refused and said no according to this sign here (pointing at it at the cashier's till) if I item scans wrong and is under $10 is it free - manager roll her eyes and finally said fine just give it too her......after all that the lady (customer) just looked at me like I was a crazy person for saving her $10!!
Never again will I do that - I will just take note, pay for my items and go to my car, put them in and go back and grab the exact item and get it for FREELast edited by Peachykeen2007; Wed, Apr 3rd, 2013 at 11:00 PM.

Superstore keeps trying to tell people that SCOP applies to "One per brand" which it does not. It is one per UPC, yes?
When stores make up their own rules it drives me nuts.

That's what I thought. I was purchasing 2 different kinds of that garnier lotion there's coupons out for right now, and they told me that I wasn't getting a second SCOP for the second scent, even though it has a different UPC.
I shot off an email to HO to see if they can set them straight and train the employees correctly.

Why is getting a SCOP seemingly so difficult?
I had a SCOP on yogurt this week and the cashier went to adjust the price. I knew this store had SCOP and mentioned it. I was told most people by her don't worry about, told her I do and I got my SCOP.

How RUDE! Because MOST people 'don't worry' (read: have no idea) about it, you shouldn't either? How stupid!
