This brag is a little late, but it has been a crazy week.

Went to do my weekly shopping last week and popped into Wal-Mart to check out the price of John Freida and of course the one I wanted wasn't on sale. But well I was there I found some other amazing deals

I wanted to pick up a few more 3 packs of Zantac but they were out, would have lowered my OOP but I won't complain these were great deals

Total cost including tax was $8.61
Savings just from coupons was $24.54

Also the same day mom picked up some Glucosomine (no idea how to spell this) at Rexall

So nice of you to help your Mum out with arthritis meds. Good price for glucosamine and condroitin - $7.99 before tax. That stuff can be very expensive for those who need it.

I was shocked to see the before sale price on the glucosamine and condroitin. Was kind of sad she has been told to buy one bottle try it for 6 weeks to see if it works as when I saw this deal my first reaction was to stock up. That is an amazing price since my mom will only be taking over the counter meds as she does not have a drug plan.

Actually my mom developed arthritis very young, she is only 48 and for the most part avoids all medications other than advil and something for heartburn, both of which I always pick up on sale and with coupons. So she is a little floored at the price, but I was speaking with one of the girl's at work that suggested if I cannot find Jamieson on sale to try the Wal-Mart as she knows people who take it and they say it is just as good. But I guess only time will tell, this may not work for her and we may be back to square one in 6 weeks.

Yes we collect the Air Miles, it is her card but I have carried supplementary for quite awhile. We only ever redeem them at Rexall or Metro to lower our OOP.

Rexall has a senior's day - she should go with you to get the extra discount.
