    I realise this is not a "brag" but is a discussion, and since the switch I really have a hard time navigating,so sorry if I offend people.

    Anyway! I was just wondering a good per load price on laundry and fabric softner. I recently took advantage of the $8.88 sunlight and snuggle at no frills with my coupons it worked out to;

    Sunight ~120 loads (I think) $8.88-$1.50 coupon= $7.38 or 0.06/load
    Snuggle 180 loads $8.88 - $1 coupon - $7.88 per bottle or $0.04/load

    I thought this was pretty great, I mean it's no free purex but that rarely happens and I can't stack (ontario) just wondering what your thoughts were, I tried looking it up before I went but kept getting US prices or homemade prices...sigh!

    Its an interesting discussion link and I hope someone doesn't it move it cause I doubt I will find it again! LOL

    But my thoughts are that you did good. For laundry I usually calculate 8 or 9 cents per load being a good deal. (Purex/Arm&Hammer/sunlight etc I have seen the 35 load bottles go on sale many times for 2.99 - if you didn't use a coupon it would work out to 8.5 cents a load before tax after tax add another penny) If you had a 1 dollar off coupon it would make it 1.99 or approx 5.5 cents a load.

    I think what you got is a good price!

    I've gotten into the habit of buying my detergent at Canadian Tire, exclusively during the $5 scratch card events. Usually there's a detergent on sale for $5-6, so I stock up then and pay up to $1+tax for ~40 loads, so I'd say $0.05 per load seems right!

    At my RCSS the Sunlight detergeant they were btw $1.99 to $2.49 - $2 (from ZONE awhile ago) and $1.50 from save.ca. So spend btw free to $1 for 32 loads, They still have a few left in RCSS Orleans.

    thanks ladies! I feel better about it. I came home all excited to my hubbie telling him what I spent and he's like that's a good deal? Don't you normally get them free. Lol...I explained to him that the purex promo was a kind of once in a coupon lifetime thing and this was a really godo deal. Once I explained out the per load he thought it was a better deal...haha!

    I did exactly the same shop at my No Frills. My husband also wondered if this was a good deal. We are not married to the same man, are we? LOL

    I consider any load at less than 10 cents as being a good deal. Sometimes Yes, you get detergent for free which is great but most of the times you have to pay something for it. In my opinion you got yourself a very good deal. Thank you for posting.
